When I was younger and did not know any better. I traded in all my games to GameStop. I cleaned them very carefully first. It was surprising to only get $18 for over 300 games, but after looking at the receipt, 80% of them, I got paid $0.50, while there was a $2 cleaning fee. Yup. I paid GameStop $1.50 each for a WHOLE LOAD of games. The part that sucked the most was, I realized this scam right after, but they said it was final.
