It's good to see Yamm so happy. Given how hard he usually tries everyday to make us happy, he really deserves this. It's like he's recaptured that first motorcycle you ever had energy. Just genuinely giddy. That's great to see. Spite's turn........

Nah. Spite don't need no 'Busa. He's got a KLR bruh!!! He'll leave Yammie in his dust! 'Busa ain't nothing compared to the red hot fury of Spite's mighty KLR! Kryptonian Lightspeed Racer. And that's BEFORE Spite outfits that rocket ship with a turbo. He's busy with the hose clamps and duct tape doing the install right now! And before the know it alls jump all over him. Chill out. He knows the KLR brakes will need to be upgraded. He already swapped them out for the braking system off that Honda 250 Rebel they were doubling up on the other day. That rear drum "Power of Thor" will be needed. Why in the wide world of sports do you think they bought that Honda?! All part of the plan. He's going to add even MORE horses after the turbo install by painting flames on the KLR. That alone will add like.... an extra 137 horses for sure. Yes Sir, and after he beats Yammie like a red headed step child in a race, I hear he's planning on jumping the Snake River Canyon. "Why?" You ask. Because it's there baby. Because it's there. 🤪

Owned a GPZ750 Turbo in 1985, bought it new…. Nothing like that feeling when the boost spools up and you fly through the gears….. I can just imagine what a turbo bussa feels like. I have owned many bikes from late 70s until today. The quick ones were XS1100 yam, tuned, a beast. VFR1100F Honda ecu flash and pipe another beast as was the ZX10 and many more. But the GPZ turbo was different. Currently riding a MV Agusta 800 triple quick and beautiful a motorcycling work of art and mechanical and technical masterpiece. After watching this I am going to find a turbo bussa, I need to feel the power again, I’m 61 and still going strong, and fast.😂😂😂😂🏍🏍🏍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇮🇲🇮🇲🇮🇲🇮🇲

Yams in terms of the power at part speed, I think you may be experiencing boost creeps. Boost creeps usually mean your wastegate can’t flow enough so your intake pressure is higher than the maximum you wanted, but I’m gonna extend that definition to include part throttle full boost. It is especially true that when you have a manual throttle, you can have a situation where you don’t have the throttle wide open, but the feedback loop with the turbocharger doesn’t account for that because it isn’t tuned with a throttle position sensor. So basically, you can open the throttle up partially, but it still gives you full boost like it was wide open.

There is something about Busas. Riding position, the way they handle at speed and that engine. 270 down is pretty sweet. All hail Turbo Busa!

Mad props for working on it yourself too. Even if your bike is not a turbo busa, there's nothing quite like cranking the throttle on a bike you've been wrenching on

I was riding a turbo stretched Gixxer back in the early 90s back in Socal. Was the only turbo bike around at the street races. Fun times..

As someone about to buy their first bike, I can absolutely say that yam is 70% of the reason I'm getting one, and this video brought me from 95% sure I'll buy one, to 110%. Not gonna start on a busa, figure it will be a nice little upgrade for the second bike tho. 😂

The turbo doesn’t take long to spool cause it’s sized correctly to that bike and displacement. Exhaust piping is short on a bike. The turbo just needs heat and rpm to build boost. And it’s RIGHT there out the headers. Larger frame car turbos the piping can be longer. Causing the engine to work harder to build boost.

So being MotoGP3 bikes have 300hp or more this is what the average enthusiast can put together for the feeling of being close to experiencing that level of power. I’m going to again take up my search for a used busu i can rebuild for this. ✌️good inspiration video and hope you get for busa fixed after GB oil leak
