AFFF (A-Triple F) is Aqueous Film Forming Foam. Same system the US Navy uses onboard ships for fire suppression. Basically, it's thick concentrated soap that foams up and blankets the flame which smothers the fire.

AFFF is also outlawed in CA as of January 1, 2022. It's a fire supressant foam. It literally separates the fuel from oxygen so that it cannot continue to burn. We used to use these in the military on ships and in certain facilities.

That thing that looks like a plug on the bottle is likely a bursting disc to prevent overpressure and explosion. It will pop and release pressure before the bottle blows.

NOCO jump packs work great. They start diesel trucks and everything else that I have put them on. Several jumps per charge.

Likely a balanced relief valve on the fire system. Since it has an arm button, and it appears to be manually released. If you push the fire button and it is not armed it releases through the relief valve.

October 15th, my neighbor let me drive his new manual 2024 911 Carrera T. First Porsche I've ever driven and when I was driving Mark looked (yes his name is Mark) at me, because I was treating his 156k dollar car with silk gloves, and said "I know you watch DDE, DRIVE IT!!! " He actually said that. So I did. Now I wasn't doing donuts or anything like (did drift one roundabout) that. But there are lots of elevens around town now and the car was fast. But what impressed me about the car (& remember it's the first Porsche I've ever driven and I just turned 53) is the handling overall. It's like she knew what I was about to do, before I did it. And yes it's not a super car, but it's the most fun I've had out of skydiving and I jump almost every weekend. Would love to see a Porsche on the channel and let it be Mike's girl. Now I understand his appreciation for Porsche.❤❤❤

FYI, AFFF is a carcinogen and that is part of the whole PFAS/PFOA legal issues concerning forever chemicals. I only know because being a Navy veteran, it affects many who have had long term exposures. The industries are looking at safer alternatives.

Be careful. I work in aircraft maintenance in hangers with AFFF systems. We use the low density, it goes off hard which can blow lines off and ours is very corrosive.
