Try using a steel hammer to break tie rods and ball joints loose. The idea behind hitting the spindle is to compress the tapered hole forcing the tapered pin out. A dead blow ain't gonna do it.

I bought this same kit except the 2.5 one and just did it on my new 2020.It came out perfect easy instal but didn’t need the back blocks this is a bit harder kit though .

Did the same lift on my girlfriends old 2009 Ford F-150 four wheel drive turned out awesome, had to replace the upper control arms down the road but it definitely made a huge difference especially with new front struts and rear shocks

Best way to do it , get any larger than a 3 inch level kit do the upper control arms aftermarket so you can retain factory ride and alignment

QUESTION. Is it possible to buy a one size larger coil spring shock to lift just a couple inches instead of a 2” puck? For example say the 8” Fox front coil is so in so inches and the 10” front coil is 2” longer when compressed could the 10” do the same thing?

plastic dead blow mallet on a steel tie rod spindle. Got be dads tools. Then heat, then evaporating spray lube, then last, the tool he should have used from the start. That was the best lesson from this video

You can use old steel tire rims to put your jack stands on for the big green monster. That's how we do it

Mechanics charge out the but for easy work. A company wanted to charge me $1,025 to change my tie rod and drag link. I said hell no! I am not paying 700 dollars in labor for you guys to disconnect 4 nuts and reconnect four nuts.

I thought okay that's not that bad I don't feel like doing it myself...well when it came time to pay "uh that'll be $315" yeah bs never going to his dumb ass again. Exact reason why I do all my own work now

Back in 07 I bought a $150 2" spacer lift from Trailmaster and a 1" differential drop for my 2000 Tundra. Had it on for maybe 7 months. It squeaked and popped every time I went over bumps. The CV axles tore and sprayed grease all over due to the sharp angle with the lift. Ended up taking the lift off. Rule of thumb if your going to get a lift on your truck do it right the first time and spend the money.
