I Put Speed Engineering Headers On My Tahoe! Sounds So Good!

After a long break we’re back with another Project Tahoe video that was actually recorded (not very well honestly) last summer after I bought some Speed Engineering long tube headers for the Tahoe.
Here you will see a portion of the process of removing the factory manifold and adding the new headers. Let me know what mods you think should happen next or what builds you’re working on.

Nice set up... I have a 08 Tahoe. 7.5inch RC lift. Long tube headers. With two super 10 true dual exhaust... 8inch tips... Might change the super 10s out with Black widow...

Not sure if you this fixed but they have a kit for this issue where you bolt the kit over the exhaust using the bolt holes in the manifold. Install in 20 min. Runs around 50$ I literally watched the video b4 I saw yours. Not sure if you took care of the problem yet just thought I would put it out there.

Not to put a complaint on here but I'm going to give you a encouraging suggestion the long-winded part in the beginning for guys that are motorheads and are looking for how people are doing things just out of curiosity or research sake all that Marketing in the beginning you can get more likes if you just got straight to it

Thanks! No issue with that at all. The steering shaft was a slight pain to get past but it will clear.

@@FUApparel Other than the heater core line, was there any fitment issues with the headers, also I noticed tou removed the wheel wells are those hard to remove? Thanks!!!! I have some broken exhaust bolts on mine so just trying to gauge what im up against lol

@@frankdatank7751 Fender liners are super easy just aggravating plastic clips that you should consider getting extras, they're cheap. The driver side if I remember correctly fell to the ground once I maneuvered it correctly coming down from the top so that was easy to get in place. Then go up from the bottom on the passenger side. The broken bolts are easier to get to with the fender liners removed I didn't worry about the ones closest to the firewall.

3” top level supreme suspensions I think. Cheap but it’s held up for about 5 years no issues.

Looking into. Doing something different with my hoe. With exhaust side of things Got the same model. Full v8. Etc. what size lift you got ?

3.5 rough country lift struts now. My favorite setup was this video before I cammed it as for sound.

@@FUApparel had a hp tune done to mine. Dod disable and. Lol. It’s not the black one on my channel it’s a 07 white ltz I have now. And far as exhaust is just muffler delete. Still has cats and resignators sounds. Good so far
