Actually, nah. The lack of sound forced me to imagine that Mugen is wearing earphones, forcing me to see his perspective and experience in a fight as he listens to freestyle rap. I don't know why, but imagining that just pumps me up, especially when I think of a character who only uses unarmed combat fights and uses breakdance techniques against opponents that are on her level, while also listening to freestyle rap. I guess it's just my thing. Sorry for the long comment.

I really liked it too! Of course it wasn't without flaws but I still had a good time watching it. Really wish I was in furthestfromthesun's shoes though, I'd love for Devilman Crybaby to be one of the worst anime I've seen because that means I wouldn't have watched as much shitty anime as I have (like have you seen SAO and the Ace Attorney anime? They're pretty bad in comparison to DMCB in my opinion)

FINALLY. A way to make those Devilman raps NOT BORING.
