Everytime I run across someone of color in the industry it saddens me that all of them think they are alone. And all black-run channels on youtube about tech or on Facebook think they are the first or are alone. I'm sad because I started doing podcasts, websites and hitting up conferences with my cohost, both of us black, and several black men and women, also black and tech writers, back in 2008. I always feel like I failed this generation. You are not alone and we'd been fighting for you since the early 2000s. But I'm happy to see all the fighting and being called names and all the BS we had to endure was not in vain. Happy to see this channel and this black developer. I went back to this path myself recently (though I can't code on your level, not even close, lol). Started up my podcast again and I STILL got ya'lls back, even if you don't know me. Go queens go!
