It's been six (!) months since I left my job after spending four years as an early employee at Notion. Here's a glimpse into my meandering thoughts on what it's actually like to quit your job without a backup plan. i totally get that lol. i've been thinking about this quote a lot (paraphrasing) people usually overestimate what they can accomplish in a year, and underestimate what they can in ten years. it's helped put things into perspective for me when things don't pan out how i expected them to. best of luck on your journey 🫶

i would love to afford to do this. i got laid off last year and the 1.5 months inbetween being laid off and then finding a new job were the best and most content i'd felt in YEARS. now i'm in a startup and i can't imagine feeling relaxed again.
