This decision has been incredibly difficult but I have known for some time that it is one that I would have to make. Brother i must say, as many people said already that i didnt expect that as a mostly youtube watcher as my schedule didnt really match with your stream schedule. I can honestly say that your channel was the one channel that hepled me the most as a ekko player from beginning to knowing most of the mechanics and the builds, paths and everything. Just want you to know that I appreciate you for teaching me so much about ekko and jungling in general. I have improved across all of my junglers, not just ekko. If you would like a new hobby, might I suggest climbing? There are several boulder spots in Berlin that are very fun and might suit you. You will find the problem-solving and movement in climbing to be much more fun than the repetition of just going to a normal gym to lift weights. Wishing you all the best, no matter what you go for!

Take care Ekkoliner, it takes a lot to take a step back and analyze and decide what you must change in your life. I can't think of anything braver than breaking up with a part of your identity, cutting it out, getting distance. The hardest part is to come I imagine. To stick with this, to replace coping strategies with healthier ones. Fantasizing about going back, oh just one game. Hopefully after doing the most vital of work that you've identified, you can have a healthy gaming balance but that might be a ways away. I encourage Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timely goals. Overarching ones and smaller ones to chain with each other. Honestly I'm trying to do the same in my own way. Godspeed.

It went from a place of fantasy & wonder to just a full time raid job where I lost the reasons I started playing it in the first place, to explore & meet people. Taking a break for your mental health is definitely understandable. It will be hard to see you go though, you were my favorite ekko youtuber by far. Takes a lot to come out and say this on, camera, respect man. I was in a similar situation to you not too long ago. I felt that i wasnt where i wanted to be in life and i wasnt making any progress either. When i evaluated my life i started to think about all the thousands of hours i spent playing Ranked and realised that a majority of the time i wasnt even having fun. It made me incredibly upset and i think the pain was elevated by the fact that i am a man and society presses the idea that you arent a man unless you have a good career, a family, a house and 3 cars. You are aware enough to realise that things arent the way you want them, but what you do next is what matters. Also don't give up on your hobbies and passions completely, you are drawn to them for a reason, if you ever go back you will mentally punish yourself for nothing. Take some time off, Play some normal games, play some other games, play with friends, go to the gym... You know what to do, you are definitely a smart guy. Anyways, Love bro, take care

That is the right decision IMO, competitive video games are so adictive, but when u get back to life you feel empty, also is a very unnatural way of living, you stop enjoying normal things such as spending time with your family, meeting with friends and so. Even you dont enjoy eating, u just does it fast so you can get back to playing and getting that dopamine asap. Also the ups and downs when u destroy people or when u get destroyed are insane. I think many of us have had the same feeling in the journey, and the right thing is to find joy in life itself, and not behind a screen. Hope the best for you man, go back to enjoying life and starting new projects for your future.
