If you see a mountain lion. its because it doesnt care about you or you werent supposed too see it. very rarely will you come upon a scene of a true wild big cat not running the second it realizes its seen. Bears are the "get real big and loud and try to scare it away", because youre really just trying to annoy it enough to leave or startle it, if either a bear or big cat seriously doesnt like you than youre fucked.
