That was an awesome race. I can't imagine running that fast but aiming to be better. 3:39 for 1500m collegiate level is amazing. On a letsrun.com thread a bunch of people were criticizing Spencer on that 3:39 is not gonna cut it and you were last. My philosophy is as long as you finished and fought and raced well. Not many people can run sub 4 or even break 5 in the mile. People need to realize that you are collegiate athlete running more than anybody else 60mpw for middle distance is alot. Makhloufi runs 80 to 90 because he is on a different level. How many people due think in their life and run 3:59 for the mile. Hmmm? Let me know in the comments. A sub 4 miler or a 5+ minute miler who runs track also. Think again before criticizing it might teach you a thing or two about judging times that you can't even run. It takes years and dedication to achieve fast times like this.
