People say robin/brook had the saddest life while that is true but if you compare the backstory not from an instance of life but from original upbringing Robin had support and love from his archeologist friends and was also able to do her hobbies which is reading... brook had pretty good life from the start ,had friends went for adventure etc...whereas sanji did not have any friends / supportive parents or siblings and didnt get any love and support since his early childhood days (except for his mother whom he rarely got to meet)... continuous bullies “EVERYDAY ! EVERY MOMENT OF HIS CHILDHOOD ! FOR YEARS!!... mocked down by his own father and ridiculed for his weakness and love for cooking ... Rigorous and inhuman training and scientific experiments to gauge their superhuman strength like jumping off a building/getting hit by weapons etc . He Was locked in jail for 6 months straight with a metal helmet depriving of his freedom and cooking..the mental trauma of this level at this young growing phase of his life is unfathomable ... and then death of his mother/getting disowned by his own biological father /constant bullies by his brothers. ...the difference for Robin/brook they had a tragic moment of life after death of their friends and families and they just had to live with the pain and move on with it …until they met luffy and others. Whereas for sanji the bad events happened for years growing up since he was an infant ... he had to face bullies literally everyday and had a solitary life everyday without any parental love/friends but rather hate from his father and bullies from his brothers. People tend to forget he had lots of difficulty adjusting to a new world around him even after he left germa kingdom ... then to add more the infamous incident where he and zeff starved without food and water for 85 days straight! The pain/hunger/suffering is unimaginable .. Things got better for sanji only after this incident with zeff at baratie….. until the wholecake island again … buddy had to revisit his mental trauma again …and the scuffle with luffy…
