What if city planning is a central game mechanic, you battle and capture wild pokemon is an area and develop buildings in that area that work for both the people and pokemon. Park with a large pond area for grass and water pokemon, sewer lines for poison and dark pokemon, power plants to give shelter to electric pokemon and aid the people, etc.

I'm gonna be bold and say that it's going to take place in the past AND the future! My evidence? Not much tbh. BUT just a couple things of note: When Arceus was first revealed they specifically made it clear that it was gonna take place in the past, and with Z-A they haven't actually said anything about *when* it takes place, just that it's in Lumiose City. To me this says that they're trying to hide that information, probably because it spoils a big twist or plot point. The second piece of evidence is the title, Z-A, from Z to A, from the end to the beginning, from future to past maybe? What I can say with confidence is that it likely WON'T take place after the war. The war was 3,000 years ago, way, WAY before pokeballs were invented, and I highly doubt the very modern-looking Lumios, tower and everything, was around 3,000 years ago.

I'm happy. Were finally getting Pokémon Z after so many years. And it may be for Switch 2 since its 2025. It's a good thing they are skipping a whole year and actually listening to fans and taking their time. This has potential to be amazing. Oh, and I'm hyped for new Kalosian forms and new MEGAS!!!! And for clarification, this game is a Legends game, so it is NOT in the future like many people have been speculating, it takes place in the past 3000 years ago during/ after the Great Pokémon war that destroyed Lumiose City, that's why they are Re-developing it again with the redevelopment plan. Plus, the name makes sense. Its Z-A because of the character AZ from X and Y.

Probably! Legends Arceus was set during the early period of Meiji Restoration on 1800s, similarly this may be the Haussmann's renovation of Paris (which established the base of modern urbanism and caused tremendous destruction to the old city + nature) and the 1889 Paris Exposition (which for it was built the Eiffel tower and many things to beautify the city) both in late 1800s, idk how the game will be but if those are the themes with "redevelopment" (from Old Paris to New Paris), then it fits a legends game perfectly! Also the whole blue background + light thing may just be blueprints, invented in the 1842 and was used heavily during Paris' reconstruction. But, *dis just a theory!*

I actually thought they were gonna do something with gen 6, everyone thought gen 5 because of the dlc being in Unova, but when they added the legendaries in the dlc they didn’t add gen 6 legendaries, they had ones from gen 1, gen 2, gen 3, gen 5, and gen 7, gen 4 was the tera raid battles with dialga and palkia, and of course no gen 8 since it was the newest before gen 9. I did the Sinnoh tour. Got a couple new shiny, sadly it wasn't as hyped as the previous tours. They did skip the Gen 8 starters and went straight into Gen 9. All 3 are in 5k eggs if you care about getting good IVs on your gen 9 starters but the egg pool will be shifting on the 1st at beginning of new season. Now is the time to get back into POGO.

We're finally getting Mega Evolution back & we're FINALLY GETTING POKEMON Z!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Albeit it's interesting that it's in the form of a Legends game; and interesting theories that are forming are possibly either taking place in the era of AZ's time when he was king/the warring Kalos period OR due to despite being a Legends game but we have Cities & the wording of Redevelopment Plans & the art maybe Z-A might take place in the future!!!! My main hope for that when it comes to Megas that we get more Kalos pokemon would get Mega Evolutions considering it's the region that kickstarted the mechanic. A majority of Megas that we have now (from most to least; not including Reversion) mainly are from: Hoenn (20), Kanto (13), Johto (6), Sinnoh (5), & Unova + Kalos have 1 each; so it would be nice to even it out with the region that started the phenomenon for Kalos to gain more Mega Evolutions

I have a theory of the fact that they didn't just name it "Pokémon Legends Z", they specifically named it "Pokémon Legends Z-A". As we all know the "Z" is for Zygarde in which everyone was waiting a game for (at least when X and Y first came out), but the "A" in the name may hint at a new legend with the name starting with A starring alongside Zygarde. Pokémon cooked with these games and the feast is scheduled for 2025. I say for all of us that we can't wait to play.

i think the z-a could mean two different things. one could be just because its az flipped and if you know who he is im sure you can understand why that is a possibility or it could have been done because instead of going forward in the alphabet it goes from last to first showing how the game goes back in time probably around the time lumios city got created or atleast the more modern version

I did the Sinnoh event! I got 4 Shinies. A wild Uxie, a wild Azelf, (they were back to back and I was excited AF! Completely lost my mind in excitement), a Bronzor, and an Origin Dialga from a Raid. Was a great event for me although my game did glitch a bit.

I think I'm gonna love watching Legends Z! Watching Pokémon X was how I got into the franchise, so it holds a special place in my heart! Also, I've been curious about the TCG, but I only got a few card from McDonald's and maybe Dollar Tree. Idk what happened to the latter. I just hope it isn't too pay-to-win.
