I think I enjoyed weird books/extreme horror more before it was a thing. Still love horror though and They All Died Screaming sounds funny.

I can understand that completely. Sometimes it feels more personal discovering something so niche. It definitely feels like there's more competition between authors nowadays to create the most messed up book rather than actually focusing on the quality of writing, which is kind of disappointing.

I like being shocked too, because I feel like it's the only time I can be moved by a book, which is why I read so much horror. But I was a bit in over my head with Cows 😂
