To be honest the thought of a 30 day shred makes my head hurt 😁. I love to hear your balance. It seems like for some who do this, it more about the accomplishment than actually taking in the Word. I am sure I will do a 90 day at some point. May start with a 6 month. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I’ve done this 4 different times. I’ve loved it each time. It showed me the Bible is one story. I like the 3 things you pointed out & I agree with you. God Bless❤

I'm slowly but surely making my way through Leviticus. Wildly boring but just recently hit the part that says to love your neighbor like yourself, which mirrors what Jesus taught later on. Fills me with joy knowing how complete the book is. I love the word of GOD. But I definitely need to read it so much more than I do, now.

Man oh man. That is a book to SLOG through. But it makes sense when you have a wider idea of where it pops into the whole story. I think Leviticus is a great example of the "read it like a newspaper" idea. Then it clicks one day. There are a bunch of repeating patterns in it, but that itself is part of the beauty of the book. Don't beat yourself up over it.

I find reading Leviticus in the NIV, makes it less of a slog and easier to get through, compared to say the KJV. Leviticus still has a lot of important stuff in there.
