Okay but this fanfic isn't just horrible for its story but for the fact it doesn't even make sense within the canon story. Tira DESPISES Siegfried! She wants Nightmare (who is possessed Siegfried by the Soul Edge sword). And she doesn't even wants him as her master, she's crazy for chaos, not even Nightmare himself (soul edge does this thing where it spreads evil seed that makes people malfested, that makes people crazy, bloodlust, yadda yadda, chaos basically lmao). She also now loves that she does her things (bringing chaos/killing) and hates the organisation that used her as a tool. If she met Siegfried again canonically she would try to murder him or turn into Nightmare again on the spot

As someone who likes Siegfried's character and story arc, this felt like a damn hit piece. Like, holy shit. Of all people, he'd be against the notion of slaves since he was one to Soul Edge! But putting that aside for a moment, Tira is pretty out of character too. I'm pretty sure she'd be trying to actually kill Sieg at this point since he was using the Soul Calibur by 4. But even if we wanna go with her losing a sense of purpose, Sieg wouldn't see her as anything but a child. I mean, he's a fantasy knight meaning he's all about honor and shit. There's potential for a sort of older brother role, but that's honestly about it, even less so if we're going off the endings to SC4 where in Seig's ending, he might have killed everyone in the world if you believe the fan theories. Sorry, I was just nerding out a little. Anyway, this fan-fic sucks, but what else could you expect from Yan-Dev? And somehow, despite only being the first 11 chapters out of 60, I bet it gets so much worse...

Editing as I go to give my advice. Not a professional writer, btw, just a hobby. As a previous fanfic writer now grown up world-builder, I must say... My horrible SCP and Portal fanfics are, at the very least, more comfortable to read than this. Mainly becuase I never wrote NSFW stuff, but even then, the dialogue feels janky and unnatural, and it is too rushed. When I was little, I got around rushed story problems by only writing short stories that started in the action, trying to make the most of the confusing beginning by using short flashbacks and detailed descriptions of what is going on currently. The only thing I can say that is slightly good about it is that he was dedicated enough to write 60 chapters, but, considering the content... It might be a bad thing... He seems to give detail and depth to things that are not needed, such as a lore dump. If someone is reading a fanfic on a certain series, they probably already know the lore to that series. I would get a short lore dump in a crossover fanfic, though, since they might not know all the fandoms involved in it. Also, from what I have read so far from what is shown, he only describes fighting and women's... Assests... In depth. To convey emotion, it would be good to describe expressions and, at least for me, eyes. Such as "The man's blue eyes looked like a somber, still pond on a foggy day. There was nothing but an empty look to them." To show saddness or despair in a character. Emotion is a good driving force in fanfiction, in my opinion. It can really portray the passion one has for the work they are writing about. It not only writes a story, but can portray the emotions the author had while reading/playing/watching the series themselves. Plot dumps were/still are a big problem for me. I usually just write short stories that are all connected to each other, since I am no professional and suffer from impatience. If the story is short, then there is not as much space for a plot dump and possibly not that much plot, so you can write more action or interactions without as much worry. If Alex were to write again (which I hope he doesn't, if it were a horrific fantasy being dumped onto page like this), I would recommend either one-shots or, as I said, shorter stories in the same universe or just short stories in general. He would just need to practice with writing character appearences and using figurative writing that portrays imagery.

Imma add to your excellent points with the combat and point out that it helps to learn the words for the parts of the weapon you're having your characters fight with. None of this "parallel to the ground but held perpendicular to the ground" BS, it's called the flat of the sword, Alex, you just want "he swung horizontally, with the flat of his blade". Also consider WHEN the direction of an attack is more important than the angle of it: while horizontally it's usually irrelevant if it's left to right or right to left unless the other character has a shield or is about to parry, vertically YOU KINDA WANT TO MENTION IF IT'S OVERHEAD OR RISING. I didn't even realize the mook was doing a jumping downward slash and Siegfried was blocking that overhead strike anime-style for 10 seconds of trying to visualize it. If you can't paint a vivid picture of who's where and doing what in a battle, skirt around the battle instead of trying to do details and reading like a moveset guide on GameFAQs. You know how some authors will skirt around the naughty details in their smut and it looks all tasteful-like and classy? Yeah, if you're bad at in-depth combat learn the tasteful and classy skirting around, battle edition. No one's gonna be mad at an author for brushing over it and painting broad strokes, I swear.
