Seriously your happiness is so infectious! I had an awful day so this is just what I needed this evening, thank you so much Will! A tip: just turn the "arm" of the swivel table 180 degrees. Take it of the bracket it hangs and then take the table mount of and turn the arm 180 degrees, then put everything back. In that way you'd get the handles of the swivel the other way around and you should be able to swing it outside as well 😊

The gas line from your gas locker to the appliances should be a hard line, not the orange pipe. It's okay to use the orange pipe within the gas locker from the regulator to a bulkhead fitting. Did you fit a drop out vent in the gas locker? The gas locker has also been fitted upside down.

i use a simular technique me HGV, velcro! The one i got was from B&M, two nets which meet in the middle via magnets which come with velcro pads for the door frame and net to meet. I measured and cut to size the nets and stuck one set of velcro to the frame of my doors and the others on the nets. When i want to park up with the windows open it takes me seconds to put my nets up, when i dont need them, they're rolled up and out of sight. The magnets even work as weights to keep the net pulled down

Mary's looking fresh and neat! Great job! Fly nets...! I bought a generic one off of Amazon and i have the entire thing held into place with strong magnets. In regards to your fly net....would some hooks on the inside work for when it is rolled up...hook the roll up on them? When you finally get it figured out I think you're really going to enjoy having the option to have the door open w/out bugs getting in.
@steviek51384 ай бұрын
With regards the fly screen you could attach a battern to the bottom of the screen and two hooks above and below that you can hook the battern onto below when in use and when not in use roll all the way up and hook above to keep tidy and clear of the door 😊👍

For the mesh for the door - what about sewing a strong magnet strip into the edges so you can out it up when needed and store it away when not needed.
@WillsWhereabouts4 ай бұрын
The issue is I can’t sew hah
@kst3574 ай бұрын
For the bug screen I suggest using velcro strips. A strip will have to be sewn around the edges of the screen and you can figure out how to attach the other side of the velcro to the van. This makes it easily removable. Stow it away and put it up when you need it. Another option is to use zippers but velcro is much simpler, cheaper, & easier to use.

Nice upgrades. I have the same nail gun. It will jam up on you. When it does. Take out the battery (safety first) Open and take out the nails and open the top. It gets jammed at the top where the little hammer comes in n out, and just needs cleaning. This is because each time you fire a nail into the wood. A small amount of wood dust goes backwards into the nail gun where the hammer is. The more nails you use. The quicker it needs unblocking / cleaning. As for the bug net. I personal don't like these kind. Each time you want to go in n out. It's a bit like a tent. Zip and unzip every time. Annoying I will get one with magnets down the middle (I have them from my home) You just pull the net open and it closes itself behind you. These I will just use self adhesive velcro to hang them up. Then I can take it away in the winter. Did you drill a hole in the bottom of your gas locker for any gas to escape?

Will. Well done, you've managed to put a smile on your face. It nice to know that you knew when to take time out with the netting, that could have driven you completely round the bend. I think the problem with the waste water was due to it not being designed correctly. All water should go downhill from the sink, through the tank to the outlet tap. Unfortunately there will never be any company that makes the perfect waste system for a van, the space isn't there. Now go and have a fun trip. 😀👍
