The thick, heavy bowls and jugs are CROCKERY. The brown pot with the lid you found a few days ago is a bean pot for making baked beans the old fashioned way, ala Boston baked beans. My grandmother and great aunt used the large crockery bowls for making bread. They used the large straight sided crocks for making saurkraut, pickles, and brining meat. Scots-Irish and German heritage from southern Ohio. I just love the old stuff. True treasures. ❤

I am loving this entire unit (except for the clothes and the sticky chicken) and especially all the jugs and jars to put collectables in. My Daddy was a Navy Seal Dale E. Crull. He was a Vietnam War Veteran. He passed on December 2nd 2004. Best man I had ever known, he would give you the shirt off his back, or his last plate of food if you were in need. He raised me alone just daddy & daughter, I was so lucky to have him as a dad. Bag Balm originally developed in Vermont to put on chapped cow udders. Now used by others for dry cracked skin, wounds, chapped lips etc. Supposed to be a great diaper rash ointment. Major ingredients are petroleum and lanolin. I used it 50 years ago for diaper rash for my children.

We were together for what felt like 13 lifetimes until he walked out on us taking everything (his, mine, & ours) when our oldest was in college and our youngest was 7. The state garnishes his wages for child support when they find him, with an option of jail. I do like cowboys though and poker players, piratey-looking fellas, and men in general.😂

The Bag Balm was made for cow udders, but it's for humans, too. It's REALLY good if you tend to have cracked cuticles or heels and, I think, is antiseptic, which makes sense. When a "friend" got a tattoo some years ago, she used it on the "tasteful art" to keep it moisturized and help it heal. 🐄🐄 BTW, I can't believe Jeremy played that harmonica, after just finding that "chicken" in the drawer!🤢 You should have put some Bag Balm on your lips to kill the "chicken" germs!!!😂😂

Here in Burnaby - B.C. - we have a place called Avalon Dairy - you still can buy fresh milk and cream - in glass jugs just like those. then you take the glass bottles back and get a credit on your next milk purchase! Please don't leave us hanging too long - every time you mention it - it leaves us wondering - but most of all seems we need to be praying!

If you go to Myrtle , North Myrtle is nice, Murrells Inlet, etc. My heart broke when they tore down the pavilion in the heart of Myrtle Beach. Also I love going up to calabash where my cousin lived. His only last living son owns the property but it’s a showplace. I never left his home with the entire back of my bronco or jeep full of plants for my Mama.

Bag Balm- is an ointment used for the cows, horses etc, that just finished nursing a baby and the udder is swollen and hard. (Hurts too) it is used to help soften and dry up the milk. It is also commonly used as an ointment for minor wounds. I used it for my horse
