Thanks for another episode. I love that you're back on. I know those panels will drive you crazy every time you look at them. I've got some friendly suggestions for the solar panel array. 1) use your pick up truck to stand in the bed instead of up and down and moving the ladder for every bolt, would espicially be helpful with a driver to move the truck forward as you go 2) use a string line to line up all the panels 3) pick up a long handle 3/8" battery powered rachet from Harbor Freight. Cheap, will help with the reach, and its cordless powered. 4) burn the wood scraps, pallets
@MountainBeaches
@MountainBeaches 4 ай бұрын
Thanks for the tips! The panels are all up now but maybe your suggestions will help others. We thought about burning the scrap wood but there are a lot of nails in it and decided to take it to the dump instead.

I would watch Jazz with chasing the deer. I work for 2 different ladies and both their dogs got stomped to death by the deer. They just let them out to potty and it happened so quickly they couldn't save them. ❤

@@MountainBeaches the bottom line is you can only charge your batteries with a certain amount of amps. If you try to charge your batteries to fast your going to destroy them. You’re going to fail because you’re thinking electrical dependence. Your wasting money. You should maybe start watching Ambition Strikes who has a way bigger operation than you

@@CanadianCivilDefenceMuseum the system will be setup with two EG4-18KPV hybrid inverters. Each inverter has 2 MPPT's with 25 amp inputs and 1 MPPT at 15. I plan to run 4 sets of 10 panels each in series so the MPPT's will handle it. They'll feed the batteries at the appropriate levels. The panels produce up to 11.22 amps. The voltage will be high but the amps low.

Yes, they did. We had to move the window panels to all the same level though and they are now one panel higher than they were on the short doors originally. I guess I forgot to get footage of it.

So they lowered the windows on the tall doors and raised the windows on the short door? I think that would look really nice! Looking forward to seeing that in the next video. Thank you for your reply! We love watching the projects you are working on❤️

It saved us a little money and was something easy for us to do. Plus it doesn’t cost us anything extra to take things to the dump. We pay an annual fee for its use.
