Really good way to show just how hard it is. Especially if you don’t have the ability to do all the promotion stuff. It can take a long time to find a way to get the people who you know would like your music to simply find it. I’ve come to the decision to just put it out there and do a small amount of promotion (severe chronic facial pain limits me quite a bit) and just be glad it’s out there. Not too long ago this was all out of reach for most of us.

This is why i just make music for myself. I really appreciate this video. It's a nice reminder that it's hard to start (even if you have pre existing skill at something!). Joel Haver mentioned something similar in one of his videos. It took him a good while to finally get recognition for his videos. Once he did, everything took off. It's a bit of a shame that it happens that way.
