Hi. I am back. My tools are little different. It was not working my 2000 sienna. I used electric saw cut the in side rubber than cut bushing ring and using hammer and pry bar hit it. It was the best way I think. Installation was easy. No need to remove springs and shocks but move out exhaust.

it's disturbing to see that the coil springs curve like that when the car is raised off the ground. i thought it might present some problems at some point. :) BTW, your running commentary is a very effective and entertaining way to explain what is happening. :) don't forget to tighten those lower shock nuts, i know i would!

Correct, I don’t like this setup too much.

By any chance do you remember where you bought the tool kits for bushings from

I was looking for a tool to remove them and I see a kit that looked like yours buy it does not say it works with Sieanna. Do you have a model number of that tool?

what would this job cost for a shop to do

I Watch the entire video..lots of muscle due to the inconfortabil position to work…since you drop just about everything….maybe dropping the entire thing and rebuild it out of the car would be easier….then ask a friend to help you lift it up might be a better way to do it? Any advice?

I've plaed Toyota Bushing Tools what you have. What size wrench and socket need for Toyota Bushing Tool. you don't tell in this video. I will replace them at my drive way. I wish can do this without car lift. I like you youtube. I will let you know after install them. Thanks.

Thanks for showing this, but WD40 does literally nothing to help remove bolts. Liquid Wrench and whack it with a hammer. Works best if you have time to spray, hammer it, and leave it for a little while. Amazing stuff.
@HETPEZB4 ай бұрын
I use Liquid Wrench spray as well. I didn’t find they work much different. Both do their job about the same.

i'm not quite clear on what was broken...

With the old bushes?
@hueyhoolihan582 Жыл бұрын
@@HETPEZB no... the title mentioned "... and damaged the car.". i didn't see you damage anything. only near the end i saw that the whole trailing link assembly rotated downward unexpectedly. and maybe a wire or something may have been broken. otherwise, i didn't see any damage. BTW, quite the major undertaking!
@HETPEZB Жыл бұрын
Damaged the wiring and connectors on the wheel sensors from both sides. Was able to salvage them though.
@hueyhoolihan582 Жыл бұрын
@@HETPEZB ya, i thought it might have been something like that. ...trivial IMO. in fact, i don't think i would have even mentioned it! (haha)

Oh It don’t need to removed alll of this shit. Easy do one side at at time. !

Instead of forcing the spring out I would get the bolt out and drop the beam while having spring compressed... Really shitty design it is.
