My brother had a bad experience with them, had to reject the car because it looked like it was hammered, it was even the wrong color, they tried not accepting it back and my brother had to get a lawyer to make them give him his money back. After hearing about that experience, I would never buy a car online, but if you have a lot of money to throw around, then have at it.

I placed the order, got the confirmation and scheduled a delivery date, and the next day my order was cancelled and sold to another customer by a higher up in Carvana, without any notice. Wasn’t till 2 days later I checked my account and it wasn’t there anymore. After one phone call they offered me $1,000 reimbursement on my next purchase as it was their fault and not mine. I ended up finding the exact car i was wanting and had a super easy and quick experience. They even gave me a gift basket on my delivery date. I definitely have heard of terrible experiences, but personally mine was great (aside from the order cancellation)

What is amazing to me is wouldn't it be cheaper for Carvana to send someone out, take the car to a BMW dealership, and get the problem fixed? Wouldn't that repair cost Carvana less than the hassle of paying to pick up the car, returning to their shop and reselling? Carvana employee here 🙋🏾‍♂️, since he returned the car it will most likely be taken back to one of our inspection centers. After the repair is done there the car gets double checked over again and put back out on the lot. These cars usually go back out within a week or two with a new buyer. Normally if this customer wanted to keep the car but just wanted to get the fix he needed, we would send out an asr repair form which is basically a check the customer can take to their nearest manufacturer’s dealership to get the fix repaired

It’s a known issue with the F10 M3. If people keep returning cars to Carvana, then they will modify their return policy that will make it harder to return the cars. The car seemed legit good.

Wow, what a great experience. Late delivery waste of time and the car came with problems but you're still like, that was wonderful, I wasted a week but man it was super convenient and I will definitely buy another car that I will have to return. All in all a great experience and I still have to shop for a car and wait for 24 to 48hours to be reimbursed my money. I recommend everyone waste their time as I did.

The only problem is that Carvana is known to to do very little to no inspections of the cars they get, either through private sales, trade, or auction. I like the idea of cutting out a dealer and having the car delivered to you, but if they don't do their part and make sure the car is in working/safe order then that's on them as a company

Unless you live in a metropolis, there aren't "plenty of legitimate real dealers to do business with". There isn't - for instance - a BMW or Lexus dealer within 500 miles of my home. Nor a Mercedes dealer or a Volvo dealer. Even a Mazda dealer is more than 350 miles. Not everyone lives in a highly-populated area. Carvana COULD be a great service if they weren't so shady. For the prices they ask, I'd expect perfection.

One of my patients at work (the son of a body shop owner) was telling me carvana is dangerous because a lot of the cars were rentals and the Carfax doesn't represent the true history of the car. The loophole has something to do with if you crash a rental the rental insurance doesn't cover it, but your insurance does... And therefore skips adding the repair history to that VIN #. Figured I would share this with you guys, definitely something to look into

For me I wouldn’t recommend carvana. I am very busy person and buying car on computer and in home delivery was the highlight for me to try them. Delivery was delayed 2months and whole time I had insurance on car that I didn’t have. Once arrived at local carvana they did (another?) 150 point inspection and found info system to have problems. Another 2week of delay. At that point I just went to local dealership and bought the car. Btw my bank were offering 4% lower rate then in house carvana financing. 1.9% vs 5.9%

Maybe I am not as understanding of this guy's personality as the people commenting but to me it seemed he payed for a pricey car noticed a small but irratating problem and returned it for said reason, I honestly don't think he did anything wrong even if the problem seemed minimal, if it wasn't to his perfection he should return it or try to have it fixed, and if I was buying a car for that value it better have no issues. @@NeuroNerdyX Actually, pretty much all BMWs do that. The cure is to bed in the brakes regularly; ie: USE the brakes on a fairly regular basis. The reason they do that is because BMW uses a more aggressive brake pad material which can handle higher temperatures and loads. Warped rotors on an M3 is really not possible IMO, the rotors are massive and have serious cooling capabilities.

Carvana gives a 100 day or about 4,000 miles warranty in which they take care of any issues with the car mechanical or cosmetic with a zero deductible when done through a "perfered partner". So you can literally take the car to the dealer for an inspection and have anything and everything fixed for free. The guy just wanted to make a video I guess 🤷 carvana advocates just go off what the customer wants which in this case, was to return the vehicle. Otherwise when calling he would have selected the option to speak to silverrock, carvana's warranty department partner. Needless to say it's a great clickbait!

Carvana has gone way down hill, bought a rav4 in 2019, great deal, car arrived as advertised, been 3 years trouble free. Just ordered a fiesta st , car had rust, bad suspension bushings. Bent rims, really a pos with there 150 point inspection. Now getting a hard time trying to return it. Many we will call you back and never do, every time I call they have no record of the last call.

there is nothing easy about carvana. i had to pay a massive down payment for insurance and sent my car down payment and kept scheduling the home delivery date but they kept not showing up. i just told them to fuck off. they wouldn’t refund my $3000 car down payment nor could i get my $3000 insurance down payment back. they also only used stock photos of the vehicle and not pictures of the actual car

It was probably sitting for a while, rust builds up on the rotors… happens on every car with rotors….
