I rode with a HALF HELMET for the FIRST TIME on my Honda Shadow 750 Aero!

I'm more of a full face helmet guy but recently tried a half helmet for the first time. I have some thoughts and am not 100% convinced.
I am giving the GoPro media mod another try and as expected it has let me down at speeds above 30mph. Got to love those audio spikes!

I wear a half helmet when I’m just riding around town. I like the unobstructed field of view and I can hear things around me much better. I go full face if I know I’m going to be riding more highway miles.

I did notice I could see a lot more than I could with a full face/modular. The biggest thing for me is I think I look goofy wearing it.

I wear full face. I did buy a half helmet also for my shadow thinking I was going to love it, and I hated it. I'm not a fan of getting bugs and bees in my face and having to wear sunglasses all day. I started doing more research after also and hearing about people having a accident and smashing there chins. Hell no put that shit back on the shelf and I will always wear full face.

Yeah it was interesting but I think there are too many downsides for it to be a daily helmet. I might use it every now and again but the majority of the time I wear a modular.

I usually just sling it over the back so it is easily accessible. Plus I can swing it in self defense incase anyone tries to get "fresh".
