I'm surprised that cinemas don't complain how bad new movies are these days that people don't want to come and watch. My local cinemas even started playing old movies and for cheaper price than regular tickets. Went to see Sleepy Hollow and Hero with Jet Li recently. Much better than all M She U and other message pushing modern garbage.

Yes. I wonder what the costs are to run a film in an empty theatre, or with like one or two people in it. I remember reading of problems like this for other films and if its that bad and that empty they pull it from the cinema and just stop showing it. As there is no demand and no money to be made, and the cinema is losing out in a tied up empty theatre, burning electric etc for nothing. If it opens to empty seats, or just a couple of people....heh...the second week drop off is going be minus people. Wonder how that works....

There's a comic shop that I rarely visit in the Pearland, TX area that plays some weird shill channel all day featuring comic and pop culture news, but it's 90% looping, which gets annoying so fast while I'm in there. I overheard a spotlight on this film (not knowing what it was for because I was busy sifting through comic bins), and the delivery of certain lines like, "Does anyone else think it's weird how we're all connected somehow?" and "What is going on? I don't understand what's happening," felt so forced. I had to deal with hearing that commercial at least four times while I was in that shop, and I'm not going to miss it when they go out of business at the end of the month. I hate seeing a comic shop die, but...this one seriously shouldn't have had that stupid TV channel playing. Anyways, that's my association with Madame Webb: a cheesy, uninteresting commercial on loop that I couldn't avoid while shopping..

It shows that these writers do not even have a scriptwriter´s training anymore, they would have KNOWN otherwise NOT to put those lines into the characters´s mouths.

Is it just me or does current day Marvel keep making characters like May, Ben and Madame Web younger and I get that this is supposed to take place in the past but one of the things I remember Stan Lee mentioning was that May and Ben were senior citizens to add to Parker's social anxieties of having friends come over since they WEREN'T his parents but rather his elderly aunt and uncle. Not saying that a buddy wouldn't want to come over to the Parker house for a thicc ol' stack of wheatcakes but the timelines and ages of characters for this films are all over the fucking place. And I'm not saying that older actors can't be hot but I guess when you hire actors that are just generic in their looks and ages, you have no fucking clue how old anyone is supposed to be because Casanda looks like she could be one of the teen girls and some of the teen girls look like they could be as old as what Casanda is SUPPOSED to be in this version but granted, the costuming and art direction sucked as well as no one looks like they came from the early 2000s, kid or adult. =P Edit: THEY KILL MIKE EPPS?! However there won’t be a picture, but the audio will still be there. From what I was told by one of the managers there, they do it that way in the event someone theater jumped. Basically paying to get in to watch a certain film, after there film is over, some will theater jump to the next one, making up their own buy one movie, get the second free. Anyhow to management it’s bad enough they steal a free movie period, but it’s even worse to do it in an empty theater. Thats what I was told.
