Screwed up? Or slight oversight and great comeback! 🤣 It looks fantastic, and what a great car and kit, love the way it's presented NIB. I drove a Manta Ray as my offroad goto jump/basher for a long time, although it constantly "evo"lved 😉🤣 At least I know where to send my TC bodies for painting now, i'd make a complete mess of the shells. 😱🤦‍♂️❤😉🤣

Yeah I had problems with the rear wing and the orange- white section with the thin decal too. They look great with the fluoro orange.

The TC wing reminds me of the Schumacher CAT XLS. So hard to get the paint all the way between the uprights

Hi there I think you have nailed it you’ve done a really nice job. I know what you mean about the sides on the spoiler I don’t have one of these but the optima mids have that same problem where you can’t get the paint inside the ridges on the rear spoiler but yes top job.

Aaaaaeeehhhh!!!! What in the ..... Oh 4K whew! For a minute I Oh HI Gavin!! Just kidding! The car looks great. For all the missteps you were talking about I think that is a really sharp looking result. Orange, white and black is one of those combinations that can really make a R/C body pop. Quick raise of hands, who thinks this body looks better than Gavin gives himself credit for? I am never letting you see anything I've painted. 😝 And I finally bought a tt-02E. I think, ordered it from Amain because I really love the CLK body kit. Not sure what's the future holds for the chassis but I really wanted that CLK and the rims/ tires, and if the box top is pristine I thinking about framing it. Tamiya has always had great box art.

Yep its not an easy one. Getting the white around the lights is not what you think it should be so easy to make that mistake.

RC interest has slowed since COVID ended. People are starting to struggle with high food, energy, Petrol, 10% inflation and now higher mortgages so having any disposable income for fun things like RC has disappeared.

You need a 4k device obviously and you need to select 4k on the bottom right.

Gavin . in all honesty i have yet to see any body that you have painted , that is not either a 10 or beyond . Im sure there has been a number of anxiety attacks ,fearing the painted outcome wont reflect your true talent . You owe yourself some credit , first for your ability to rebound from mistakes you believe you made , i havent been able to find any flaws in your work , your either a pro at concealment or incredibly good at repairing what you believe is sub par. Theres just one thing i dont understand , you've mention a few of your bodies will be sent out to have them professionally painted . I really dont see any reason to do so , your painting abilities are just as good as a professional .

Shouldn’t be a problem…use T-cut to take care of paint issues…RIGHT?!?! I still do not understand what “magic” you did with this product. I cannot not imagine how you used it to correct minor bleeding of paint. I accomplished nothing with it. No explanation from you. Did I completely misunderstand?

Hard body only. T-Cut is a mild abrasive so you can remove overspray if its sitting on another paint layer.
