She's glorious. This is absolutely spectacular. It's always great to see how much knowledge of human structure from drawing can translate into creating a 3D figure. And the hot glue hair is a stroke of genius. I love her so much. She's such an amazing character design.

I think if you get into sculpting humans and creatures more, watching North of the Border could help you. He does a lot of different stuff from people to monster, sharks, shark monsters and diorama and while his videos aren't explaining while going in detail he still shows helpful tips like baking pieces in between detailing and using big wooden blocks to hold the armature in the right pose. He's also very funny and entertaining :)

For a first time sculpting a human you did very well. I don't tend to make humans because I find making dinosaurs and other creatures easier. Especially the chibi dinosaurs in making for my etsy shop. The hot glue for the hair was a very clever choice and it ended up looking really good. If I ever sculpt a human like my persona which has long blonde hair I might use that trick. I would advice that for the face and base body you usr a different version of super sculpey that's peach color and is softer. Many people use it as a base and it will be easier to sculpt and requires less conditioning. Also to condition the clay I suggest using a rolling pin as it spreads the clay out easily and is less strain on the hands. Also maybe making a stand for her and putting the armature on that before you sculpy could allow you to do more dynamic posing and make it easier to sculpt. But overall you did amazing and I'm excited for future sculpts you do. Especially with spooky season coming up Lovely work excited for your next video

Rose Thornblade is such a cool and gorgeous character. I always love getting to see her. Lately i've been super into Vtubers, and every time i see your OC i think man she'd be perfect for a vtuber character. You should check them out as many vtubers who are also artists, stream as their character and do the art and some mad lads even do the rigging for their own models.

And seeing how your drawing style was transferring to a 3D human figure is so cool. If youre ever up to do this again Id love to see you try more human sculptures - or even just the head bc that part was so satisfying! Love how you used the glue for the hair it turned out amazing!

Now that you’ve dipped your toes into the human form, I think it would be really cool for you to try bjds. I think you’d love it! *ALSO before you go headfirst into this project* (if you were at all considering it) you should look through the standard proportions of each type of doll, unless you are planning on making the wig and clothes yourself (learned that the hard way but also I knew that exactly what I wanted wasn’t gonna exist anyway lol) 18:55 WAIT IS THAT STRETCHY STRING- ARE YOU ACTUALLY DOING IT?! This was a fun video, and really neat for your first real attempt at a person! My one suggestion for if you attempt this again: to keep your sculpture at a manageable size, maybe lay down a line on some paper with perpendicular lines at the top and bottom in a general I shape, and call that your sculpture's height from "floor" to the top of the head. If you already know how big your new friend's supposed to be, you'll at least have a box to try to stay inside.
