Ya forgot Battle Revolution. Not only you can get shiny pokemon, but also shiny costumes. Those costumes have only ONE chance to be earned and if you miss it then you have to restart YOUR ENTIRE FILE

iirc you can quit or lose the battle on purpose if the costume isn't shiny so you can reset on it.

I remember having the demo version of Pokemon Rumble saved to my Wii. I remember enjoying the novelty of it and replaying it every now and again, but never feeling the need to get the full game version.

You can actually shiny hunt in battle revolution!!!! I believe you have to reset the whole file each time and can check 2 battle cards which each have a team of 6 so its like 12 cheacks per 2 minutes or so? Its fun! My friend got a grottle in a night :3!!! Oh and alternatively you can hunt the pokemon themed clothes in the game! But it takes a full playthrough to check it i think? I think some of them still dont have a foyt!!!

i can't believe i spent hours playing magikarp jump and never, ever saw a shiny OR a ditto. i don't think i even knew you could get a dittokarp. i played until it was too ridiculous of a grind to continue, i believe. i got so many of the different patterns, i swear basically all i had left were those two.

I loved playing Pokemon Rumble Blast when I was a child (the sequel to Pokemon Rumble) to the point where I have all of the EX missions completed and they are really difficult to beat. Too bad you cannot shiny hunt in those games tho.

So I never knew about the whole false swipe thing in Mystery Dungeon I have 3 shinys in that game. One intentionally hunted, the other 2 were by complete happenstance, those all being Dragonite, Noctowl, & Ditto. The Dragonite is one of my main team members along with a Glaceon & Golem who deals like 5k damage a move.

Pokémon shuffle, you can get shinies. It's really tough and its only in the special tab, but you can obtain shinies in Pokémon shuffle. Great game. It's mobile and on the 3DS. I have a shiny mewtwo, Tyranitar, and I believe a Charizard. Happy hunting :))

As someone that's shiny hunted the normal methods for years and only just started trying rng manips it's honestly just educated soft resetting the whole set up and stuff I feel like is where the challenge is and there's still things like random character fidgeting and stuff in certain games that can completely make you miss your target so it's still not that easy to do and it's really fun to see how the games work under the hood

You forgot Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Adventure Squad. They were japanese exclusive wiiware games, but have translations out there you can play, too. There's 3 of them, but they're just reskins of the same game

I've been a massive Mystery Dungeon fan ever since I was a kid, and was ecstatic when they announced recruitable shinies in the remake (besides the shiny Celebi that was an important supporting cast in Explorers and is playable is Super and the remake). I was super lucky to get a shiny Dragonite as my 2nd/3rd shiny pokemon and he's been a party member ever since. Since PMD has held items that completely nullify status conditions, like confusion, Dragonite can take one literally *any*one with Outrage and *every*one through blessed move coverage like Blizzard.

Cool video, but there is another spinoff you can find shinies: Pokemon Masters. You get eggs from completing areas and you can hatch shinies from them for your own character and special events give you special eggs to get stuff like shiny starters

Not EVERY spin off as you can't get shinies in the pokepark games. Man I miss that series. same with the mystery dungeon games. Hope someday we'll either get a new one or a remake for explorers of sky like we did with rescue team. (I know you can get shinies in mystery dungeon.) God what great series those two were. Pokemon sleep is so easy though? Just hit the go to sleep thing, put your phone on your mattress and then just.. sleep. Sure you can get more pokemon to appear when you wake up if you feed snorlax but you dont HAVE to, even though again, its super easy to feed it..
