I liked this more relaxed style of video, just as fun to watch as your more scripted ones, but this video gave me such strong impulses to ‘Well, actually…’ and hype up each monster, even though that wasn’t the point 😂 Also, look at the iodrome slander here! Probably my second favourite raptor, he is perfect and I love his funky face (to me it looks like certain pterosaurs, particularly Tapejara and Tupuxuara) (Although I fully concede he’s not a great fight)

man its been a minute since I ever fought him. I'd need a little time to think about it. Off the dome it might be cool to make him a bit more of a set piece. He's said to be capable of sinking islands, maybe he's got a multi-phase fight where he's melting an island down into the ocean. Something like that. You could do a phase where he might need to be in deeper water, something kinda akin to Ceadeus where you can have such a big animal move around more cuz there's much more for him to move in. I think the half out of the water Dire has goin on kinda makes him stiff and doesnt give him a lotta breathing room. maybe play around with him being able to boil the ocean around him.

Azure Rathalos is mostly pretty meh for me, but, Monster Hunter Stories 2, forget how he looked in 1, but the strong, turquoise blue and strong green wings are my favourite rath look out of any of the games. Conversely, any game that isn't Rise or World the metal raths look terrible, they need the graphical nuance, or lighting, or style, something...of those games, to look right, i think. Even weirder: I think Dalamadur looks great and doesn't look weird. Not sure how metallic it's supposed to look but I'm cool with it just being bluey grey scales.

I would really like to talk about all but that'd be too long. So I just mentioned my favorites and my least favorites. BTW I'll let the frontier versions out. Favorites: I absolutely love Chameleos. I never fought him in his original game. But since 4u he became one of my favorites of all. I Love reptiles. Ans this guy is what dodogama is for the community. He a silly, cute Boi. Feels bad to kill him. Damyio is the superior crab. Very good. Even his subspecies. The risebreak Raths (not the Apexes) are absolutely right. HE'S alot more threatening. (please make him HR exclusive again.) SHE'S a good training dummy. Monoblos has to return ASAP. I'm tired of Diablos. Give ME the superior Styraco-boi. Also where's Gravios? Plesioth was good in 3rd Gen. Hope they can make him right. Like kushala. Lao shan lung = Grandpa Rathalos. Love it. And Ukanlos is awesome. Least favorites: Screw most of the dromes. (except Velocidrome and the genprey Quartett) The Greats are better. Get out! Blangonga is the worst monke. Dont like the design. And his fight is a worse Rajang. And Lastly. Cephadrome and Gypceros are my least favorite monsters of all time.

Gypceros is a fun fight, but the whole...gypsy...thing...is super awkward...i don't mind if it doesn't come back. Like, monster that flashes you, poisons you, steals your stiff, plays dead, charges around all goofy looking, and is immune to a trap type? Great, that's all funny, a monster specifically designed to be a bunch of annoying traits feels like a joke I'm in on. If there wasn't the terrible stereotype of 'gypsies' - i don't know the political situation of that term at all, whether it's embraced by those who would be labelled it...*who* it's applied to, just don't know, but if there wasn't the stereotype of them as tricksy, dirty, thieves, it'd be a lot better. For them most of all the lack of that stereotype, but also for capcom and the monster. Because Gypceros tricks you by playing dead, poisons you, and steals your stuff. It's pretty obviously that stereotype. If they are going to bring it back, take off the name, i hear in japan it's something like 'gyeros'? Asides that, Poison-thief is already occupied by Chameleos, so we don't *need* it, and we have other flash-bangers, tzitzi-ya-ku for one but in the serious, more notable monster field, Somnacanth has a flash, and status moves. Think there's something else too...Low-mid-grade poison/poison-capable monsters we're spoilt for, basarios, gigginox, Pukei-Pukei, rathian, bishaten, iodrome, purple royal ludroth, congalala.
