I’m not surprised to know that Austin would be enamored with the Gargwa and Arzuros, they honestly deserve it. I’m just happy he liked Valstrax, that was all I honestly needed personally. Also this really reaffirmed my interest in knowing what people find good in Monster Hunter, where what some people find cool, and others just don’t care for, like him not being big on Deviljho or Barroth despite being decently popular. But this is purely aseathics, and now I want to have things pass my own Duck test.

I actually think Austin's perspective is very interesting, since one could apply this scenario to the devs wanting to see what monsters people who haven't played the games would find interesting and make them think "Huh, maybe I'll pick this up.". I know it sounds weird to put it in a marketing perspective, but it was just the first thing that came to mind.

I'm honestly surprised about Gargwa and Arzuros. But hey if you like them you like them. I'm a bit sad that base Lagiacrus (the blue large Leviathan) and Glavenus (The Dino witth the blade tail) aren't as high, because they are my absolute favorite monsters. But hey I respect your choices and some bold takes with the Kirin being that high up as well as dropping Barroth below his sub species Jade Barroth

Finally someone who agrees whit me that deviljho is mid, also you'd have to show dalamadur intro for austin to really get it Also, off-topic (spoilers if austin reads this), but seeing amatsu in this vid made me realise that MH really needs bigger maps. Amatsu would be really cool to battle in the coral high lands, but the map doesn't have a zone where he would fit. It would be cool if the maps just had 1 big zone where only specific monsters go, and just more zones in general, take a note of frontier

Eh, my boy Seregios ended up about where everyone else puts him...he's still my favorite though. Zamtrios being so high has me so happy, love my armored yet fat shark frog bro. Not in response to the new guy, but your co-host's remarks on Dah'ren vs Jhen. I vastly prefer Dah'ren to Jhen, myself. Just, a straight upgrade. Better questss for solo players to engage with it for starters...more points to jump on, prefer the horn to the tusks, prefer the radial plates and punching holes through to the ridge, like the blowhole, a nice striking red colour...reason i did Jhen/Hallowed was for the armour and to say it's done, and indeed i have killed, solo, bloody hard it was, Hallowed Jhen, not the, heh, not the G event Jhen though. Oof. Dah'ren, weaker certainly, but far, far, more fun. So much more you can do...heck, even the old Jhen hips jump still works on it when i went back to Dah'ren after my foray in 3u. And the hitzones! No more standing at the belly trying to hit it, getting hit, healing, going back in. The arms! The long horn meaning you can get aboard plenty well enough, or smack that for a break, or just hit it in the mouth, thst works too. If it gets that close, course. So much easier to keep away! Easy, again, but far more fun. I actually fight Dah'ren for fun.
