@KiranPatel-fk1pg it's not reasonable to pay for an older, more reliable truck that have reports of over 500k miles with simple routine maintenance vs spending 60-80k USD for a new truck. The 4.7 and 5.7L v8s in the 2nd Gen Tundras are very reliable compared to its predecessors.

My Wife, daughter and I tried to love the bronco but man its tiny inside, It felt about the same as my mother in law 2008 rav 4. We are all on the fatter side so that might be the issue. Ford let us try it for 2-3 weeks. My wife ended up going with a Buick 2022 Buick Enclave AWD. Im a multiple Ford Mustang owner and Ford man through and through. I wanted to love it but didnt. Well for more serious off road use these wheels are to wide for a 275/70r18, at 9.5 instead of 7.5 to 9, but for your uses it's fine. The 275/70r18 is the ideal tire size for you, not to wide for ice or hard pack(255/80r17 might be a hard to get size, and 5 OEM wheels), 33.2-33.4 inches tall, and a common OEM size.

Haha, semi-pro! I like that. Yeah, I hear you.I I think my 4Runner is great, with the exception of the 4.0. It really puts a hamper on the vehicle. On the plus side, it IS a tested and reliable engine. Maybe if it had a better transmission with more gearing it would be better, but as it sits from the factory it really is lacking and frustrating to drive at times. For coolness and desirability factor, I definitely put the 4Runner behind the Bronco and the Wrangler. Hopefully the next generation of the 4Runner addresses these issues, the new Land Cruiser and GX550 that they just released looks promising.

I spend a lot of time on the highway too (why I chose the 4Runner over a similar year Wrangler), I actually wish that Ford offered this vehicle with a fixed steel roof, I think that would fix all the noise concerns. I'd say enjoy this thing for a couple years, then traded in for a new Land Cruiser 1958. Probably about the same amount of money once the hype dies down, in that vehicle should be quieter inside and potentially more economical, with the hybrid drivetrain.

I have all the same complaints with my 21 f150 2.7, the 10 speed is a bit confused at times and the engine is a little less refined than some. But those aren't deal breakers, and Fords start/stop is pretty smooth I feel like. If you release the brake pedal enough it will immediately turn the engine back on so I like to lift off the brake pedal just enough to turn the engine back on when I know the light is about to change.

Being American born, 4th generation family Ford employee going on 35 yrs like my dad & 2 brothers- Toyota has never been on the menu when buying or leasing my vehicles. Personally I'd rather push a Ford than drive any Toyota. For the most part the company's designs seem to resemble other manufacturers works, meaning their mechanicals might be more dependable (somewhat) but they can't seem to come up with their own decent body design without copying from another. Respect to my American heritage means that much more. for those who come at me insisting that Toyota IS an American company are only fooling themselves as trying to fool others. GM builds vehicles in Shanghai, does that make GM a Shanghai company? No. It depends on where the company originated from; headquartered. I've owned Fords & Chevys over the years and I really haven't had many problems to whine about especially over the last 20 years, quality has gotten much better. I have a ordered loaded 23 Bronco WildTrak to be delivered very soon 😁 waiting since March. Anyway informative video, But I would have kept the original wheels.

Any factory turbo vehicle will come with an intercooler that is absolutely prone to heat soak accompanied with an inadequate pcv system. Those are two main upgrade many would suggest to be mindful of. If you expect to keep this for a similar amount of time as you did for your 4Runner, you will be fluent in water pumps and center differential service/replacement. Keep in mind when you will need to replace your water pump outside of the warranty coverage, it is integrated into the timing system. I understand its very hard to justify the cost of Toyotas now a days but in the same hand its hard to justify compromising for something built with alot less care.

Ouch. Bronco was the wrong choice. I think you can already tell the engine and powertrain on those are garbage. Good luck though. Would love to see a follow up after 2 years of ownership.

That electric steering is a life changer!! Nice choice on the Bronco and always considered getting one and this vid says it all! Would like to see options for performance upgrades without hurting the warranty or the wallet as much lol... The Bronco has the same engine size as my 2021 F150 and im not fond of the 10 speed or the rough idling as well

100% downgrade in reliability, but smart on your part since yours had major rust issues.
