In my opinion it’s a bit ironic He’s happy in Japan since The country is notorious for their societal depression And workaholic country, unless PDP managed to counter that aspect of Japanese society by being a foreigner. But I’ve heard that even foreigners weren’t safe from being seen as another Japanese citizen and having to deal with society like a Native Japanese person. If he’s happy living there though, good for him. It’s otherwise an excellent country when you overlook the society.

As a rhythm game player, this tier list is quite accurate (At least in terms of popularity in my area), nostlagia is pretty niche, and Beatmania IIDX is usually for experienced players because it's considered as one of the hardest arcade rhythm game. I live in Japan currently. Taiko no Tatsujin (the drum game) is my absolute favorite game to play there. I can spend hours in a japanese arcade playing their rhythm games. Love the passion in this one. I’m not gonna lie, whenever I’ve been in a Japanese arcade I get intimidated that there’s a level of Japanese required ‘to do well’ which I’m sure there is sometimes, but it stops me from just going for it because public anxiety 😂 I feel like the volume Felix is speaking at is different. It’s like, I’m expecting book review level energy and maybe that difference is an adjustment for viewers but the dialogue feels a bit too constructed. Totally has to be with that many games I suppose otherwise you wouldn’t remember what to say. But I’m so glad he’s having fun with it and we’re getting content like this!

Honestly I envy that you guys have more stuff to do in metropolitan areas with friends. Here in the US the most we do is go to the theater or hit up an amusement park once a year. Personally I would love to visit Japan but I definitely would have to learn some Japanese and have a plan.

7:00 I salute you for being able to stand there and dance awkwardly alone and film on top of that. As an introvert this is near impossible for me and even paying me wouldn't make me do it lol. This video felt different from the usual vibe you have, it feels similar to the style you had on your 0 death Elden Ring challenge video, if I were to describe it shortly then it probably is "Scripted Pewdiepie mode". It's kinda refreshing and I like it a lot.

It's really cool that you felt comfortable to do this(despite the odd awkward moments you felt uncomfy) because you didn't get pestered by anyone, like your privacy is a lot more respected in Japan. I know you already made a video about your move to Japan, but it would be cool if you could make another one like, How is it playing games/calling with your friends back in the UK/US, is it still possible or is the ping a big issue? and since you moved a whole continent, do you worry about visiting your friends, and how hard that may be given the flight time and costs etc? I'm loving your content recently, it seems like you're sharing something you enjoy, very naturally with your viewers, super entertaining to watch, especially now the content is about Japan theres a lot of cultural aspects that are interesting and beautiful, but also a lot of nerdy stuff that I love seeing you explore!
