For shirts with a lot of weird straps that need to go on either side of the head, I organize the straps and clip them with small claw hair clips. Then I can put the shirt/dress on without the straps getting tangled or out of place. Just make sure the clips are smooth inside so they don’t snag the fabric!

I can't sleep at night til late night brain just goes on and on. drinking coffee make me sleepy before it gives me energy. I think it'll keep it clear of dirt and bacteria it's like the saline solution we use to clean wounds when out on first aid event cover. I do hope she got a plaster to put on it

You don't want any alcohol in the open wound, it might stop infection but also slows down healing as alcohol kills new cells that are trying to close the wound and it might leave scarring. Soap and water are best to first clean the wound anyway without so much pain.

I do fully agree that it looks better with the stockings than with pants - somehow putting it over pants makes it lean a bit frumpy to me, whereas over stockings (or just boots) it looks incredible. I had a similar incident last weekend that involved stairs... ouch. Pro tip in case anyone else wipes out while wearing heels, there is a very gentle wound cleaner that doesn't sting at all. I'm not sure if you can get it outside of the states, but it comes in a little spray bottle and says "wound spray". It feels AMAZING, like you're just spraying cold water on your scrape. Also, Manuka honey is good for healing.

The second you said you were going to put hand sanitizer on the wound, I was like DONT DO THAT. It’s not needed. Soap (unscented, if possible) and water! Edit: do not get the soap IN the wound. Just use it to clean around it, and then run water over it for a few minutes, which should get most debris out. (SIL and my aunt are nurses.) Also, the dress looks beautiful. Not necessarily almost $300USD beautiful… but I feel like at least half of that is the sterling silver gems. I’d be curious to see how it looked on a figure like Caitlin or Tiasha.

Just a head up alcohol on cuts like that is more damaging than helpful it can reopen the cuts healing process, which is why water and mild soap is the best sanitizer. ( hand sanitizer is really only second best when there isnt water and soap around)
