After reading the comments, I was expecting there to be indiscriminate crossfire on birds and hunters alike. Instead, a wild animal behaves in an unexpected way...go figure. Anyone that hasn't seen the weird or unexpected in the woods hasn't hunted much. All that happened here was 2 guys enjoying the hunt. Great video. I always enjoy your content that shows not only the hunt, but the comraderie as well

You know, been giving it thought here before I comment. I have a YT channel too. I don't like criticism in the comments, gets my hackles in a bunch depending on it. So I don't want to say anything negative. However the truth of the matter is anything in life has consequences. My 7 year old daughter loves Kirk's stuff, we watch it together. I'm not happy with this either, but Kirk's human. He's not flawless, none of us are. I am cautious as to what my kids watch. I had to explain to my daughter there was some things in this video that wasn't the best decisions made. Hopefully everyone can learn. The hunters, the viewers, even my kid.

Haha good question. It’s a locate call to get them to shock gobble. I can get really loud with it and turkeys absolutely hate it. By getting them to gobble it allows me to get in position to call them in with a hen call.

@@KirkPrice obviously most of them, all of the shots you took either resulted in a miss or a wounded bird, if I remember correctly you did harvest one bird, but it wasn't a clean kill, had to shoot at the bird again, or am I wrong? Don't rush or take marginal shots, appeared to me you were trying to stalk birds, mostly run and gun, didn't setup and be patient for a confident shot. Looked like to me a bunch of inexperienced turkey hunters shooting up the woods and trying to run birds down. You have some great video production, now just clean up the hunts, be patient and get good clean kills on video.

Just a few things . This makes turkey hunters look bad man. Shooting wildly through the woods just slinging them. Turning and shooting at fleeing birds at a huge distance . If you are having to shoot that last bird 3-4 times? Man please try to respect them more than that. Pattern your gun and please keep it in ethical distance. I love your vids but this made me nauseous.

I appreciate you saying you love my videos. It’s very easy to sit back and arm chair quarterback a hunt. Every gun you watched in that video has been patterned this year. The only “wild” shots in the video were attempting to kill a wounded gobbler. He was doing everything he could to make sure the gobbler was killed and didn’t escape wounded. Prior to this video, I showed back to back days where we doubled up both days. Some days are great and some days you miss. We’re not perfect and I don’t pretend to be.
