I Spent $7,000 on Bed Covers Amazon Suggested...

We went to Amazon.com to let the algorithm decide which 4 bedcovers we should purchase! Here are the rules. We are going to type in 2022 Ford F-150 Bed cover, and the first 3 products that show up that are not sponsored, we are going to purchase and review!
Starting off with the cheapest bed cover, it certainly is budget friendly but it was not easy to install and there were some gaps. We also noticed how cheap it was made and that this bed cover was not made for longevity. Now onto the 2nd most expensive, which is the bakflip bed cover. One thing we really like about it, is that it is a tri-fold. Another cool thing about this bed cover is that you can fold it up and buckle it, and drive around with the bed cover folded up, in that position. Next up is the Synetic USA bed cover. One thing we noticed about this bed cover right away is that there are quad drain pipes. We don't particularly like this set up because of the problems it could cause if you were trying to put something wide in your truck. We also don't like the redundant latches this bed cover has. A positive thing that we notice is how sturdy this bed cover is. Now for the most expensive bed cover we purchased. The Retrax bed cover. This bed cover had the longest delivery date and NEVER showed up. We received parts of the bed cover but not the entirety. Let us know if you enjoyed the video in the comments down below!

A good budget is a gator or American tonneau. Both are Trifold soft covers. Usually when one isn't on sale the other is. And they are just like the Lund, rough country, or line-x tri fold soft covers only difference is the tag on them. Truck hero owns a ton of companies and names. From ARE truck caps to husky liners.

I just put a $350 Truxedo roll up on the last F350 8' bed and the same on the current F150 6.5' bed. Decent and rolls to 5-6" diameter if need be - which on the F350 was every time I pulled the 5th wheel. If it rips or someone cuts it, a replacement is still less then one of most of the others plus looks good for at least 6 -8 years(the one on the 3500 still looked good after 9 years). I can't believe how expensive these bed covers can get and really doubt some are worth that kind of hard earned cash

I like the BAK Revolver X4S cover, aluminum yet rolls up like a soft cover. Only think that sucks a bit is it's either open full or closed full.

I got the same thing! It is the BEST! It is clean looking, and does not stick above the bed and still has metal locking top so it secures everything!

I bought a gator tri fold for my 23 zr2. 250.00. Fits great looks good. Does what I need it to do. I lease my trucks. I'm not investing 1500 plus in a cover.

Want a Spare tire cover with a halo third brake light.. What papa did for the F-150 XLT Lariat was build his own with pressure treated wood and heavy vynal then put crome rails on the sides for a lift off..

I have both a Bakflip MX4 on my 16 F150 and a Syneticusa on my 23 Raptor. MX4 seals break down over time, they do have great product support but I would not buy a trifold again as I use a truck more so for camping and dump runs. Very happy with my Syneticusa on my Raptor, installed a Yakima 4 bike rack and a fly rod rack on it. Very happy. I wish Bakflip would build a product that competes with Syneticusa/ReTrax.

I like my Retrax on my RAM, especially with the locking and hard top, but I do not like the loss of bed space and I still get some leaks, especially around my tailgate

I liked the video a lot. It shows (me) the customer that if I want something else than what yall sell yall are not going to try and beat me down and tell me yalls is so much better, but you will tell me what a little more or maybe a little less money can get you and maybe why you should or shouldn't go that route and not push your customer to get something to make you some more money and a little later after owning it. Me the customer can't say ," well it's not like we didn't try to get you or not get you to go another route....." I really like the way these 2 guys are honest to get out of the box as they say and really look at what else is out there and show us the quality.

Good luck with getting your money back. I had a similar situation last year, bought a 1,000 dollar stereo that shipped in 2 boxes, and I only got the one box with the speakers. I had to go back and forth with them for months with messages and pictures, before they finally refunded me. Sad part was after I got refunded I went and bought the stereo from a actual brick and mortar store, and I don’t believe the stereo to be worth price. It’s maybe worth 200 bucks on it’s best day. Wasn’t worth the time, money, or aggravation.

Enjoyed the video. Would love to see more but don’t want to bankrupt you all. Retrax sells an inexpensive gasket kit that seals the tailgate from water infiltration. It and the cover have kept my bed completely dry through plenty of frog chokers this year.

One great thing about Amazon is when they deliver, the driver snaps a pic of the items so you know exactly what they delivered and where they placed it. So, in the case of a missing box, simple to prove.

It definitely will. My retrax was purposely bought for hunting in Wyoming and it worked great. Kept stuff warmer and dry and still work even after some freezing
