I asked a local jungle villager to lend me his bamboo raft. Things didn't exactly go to plan!

Many years ago I went rafting in Northern Thailand. Me and a friend were taking turns paddling. I was sat on the raft when a neon green, hairy arse spider the size of my fist crawled out of a hole in the bamboo. It ran straight at me and leapt on my leg. I flicked it into the river with my hat and that bastard thing swam back to the raft and disappeared back into the bamboo! I spent the next two hours on red alert looking out for that git. 😂😂 Also, you’ll never get charged by an elephant as they are all used to the tourists that ride them.

FYI The sap coming from the rubber tree is actually called latex. latex is collected and then changed and heated and have chemicals attitude to create rubber . Raw latex is what is used to make chewing gum It won't be flavored at all in taste like latex But you could take a piece off and chew it like chewing gum to keep your mouth moist All day long.

I tasted the cacao seeds when I was in Costa Rica and to me the taste reminded me of a green apple, please respond below if you agree because I've never heard anyone else make that analogy...

Хорошо плыть на плоту , Если тело не в поту. It's good to float on a raft, If the body is not sweating. 😊😊😊😊😊

You might have 'splashed out' on the deluxe model with two extra bamboo poles.

Its called a push pole for a reason ;) I think your steering, as well as standing would have been a lot easier if you had stuck to using that method rather than using it like a double bladed paddle lol. Fun trip! Thanks for sharing.

Fun fact: it's now thought cocoa trees were first domesticatred for the pulp inside the fruit rather than the seeds we get cocoa from.

Having worked as a raft guide, ye'r killin' me. Watching you end up in every strainer on the river is terrifying, those things can be deadly even in low water. The video got posted, I assume that you lived, but yikes.

That raft needs more everything. It needs to be wider for one thing. I don't think you're supposed to sink as soon as you step on. Were you supposed to use the bamboo pole to push the raft along instead using it as a paddle? It does look like you had fun though. Into the drink. LOL I think you raft needs to be 12 bamboo poles wide at least. LOL It's cacao.

The monitor lizards happen to be water monitors And it was the second largest in the world next to the Komodo Dragon. One other monitor is if you might wanna be aware of And be wary of are the crock monitors There are no porial species with the prehensile tail and they are over eight feet long even though their bodies are small their tails are like 2/3 of their body length or total body length So the tales could be like 6 feet long or the body's like only 4 feet long. And they have the worst bite you can get from any monitor lizard or snake other than this poisonous ones. The crop monitors teeth are so long they actually stabbed into their lower gums and upper gums And they always look like they're bleeding which they are their gums are bleeding because their teeth are so long and sharp. so you don't want to get bit by one of those at all ever.
