Someone may have said it already, but it might be a good idea to cover the seams in the tile with clear caulk. Since it's by the sink, any water splashed on it could get in the cracks and behind the tile to cause mold. Also showers add a lot of moisture and heat to bathrooms which makes the mold happy.

Use your ducks as the liner! I had a sea creature shower curtain that I loved but changed to make my bathroom look nicer and I just made it the liner, now I can enjoy my sea creatures while showering and have the bathroom look great!

I would prefer the vinyl tiles all over the wall if there were enough. The hanging shelf is nice but to my eye the rounded shape clashes with the angular lines of the hanging shelf. I do like all the colors together and the counter/sink area looks great.

I totally agree with you and the ladies under this comment. Mia did a really good job transforming the room. But I would have painted the mirror frame white, to better match with the white cabinet that she'd also painted. I also would have covered the whole wall with tiles. If I decided to paint, I would not paint that gray 'door' shape on d wall. I also agree with you, I don't like the shelve... We seem to have the same aesthetic!! ;) I LOVE decorating!!

I love this! Why not cut and keep the duckies as a “liner” and stack the duckies liner on the gray curtain so that the outer curtain is what you love and the inner curtain is what makes the shower water sealed and you could just add magnets to the center to keep it closed!

For anyone reading or Mia for the future when putting the vinyl stuff on a counter top use a hair dryer for around edges or corners and stuff it really works

Having used that vinyl sticky stuff, it would have been easier to do the back bit before doing the tile and separately from the main counter top. The join with the wall would have been hidden by the tiles and the join with the counter would have been hidden with the silicone. Plus less material makes it less fiddly in corners.

Tip: When you have to cut around something like a light fixture it is easier to cut a piece of paper or poster board to the size of your tile, use the square of paper to measure and mark on to use this as your template. Can save a lot of tears so you don't accidentally cut the tile too much. Please don't ask me how I know this.

It does work! I use it for a large vanity my husband made me. Like after 4 years it needed something. It was all white and no matter how much I washed it, my makeup wouldn't come off .So I used a pink and gray marble . Our bedroom was a light pink. It had alot of corners because he built it in the corner and then along a long wall. Beside the vanity attached is a dresser he made all in one. It came out good. Hope thIs makes sense. YOU did marvelous!!

The “chip” on the seashell is an intentional opening done to remove the conch that lives inside. It’s done by fishermen to breach the suction grasp of the mollusk to easily remove it from its shell. Love the upgrade 🥰

okay I was searching for this comment bc I did not want to be the only one thinking there is a bit of a pattern/colour clash. lol. but honestly, if she loves it then that is all that matters, no one can steal her sunshine! :)

I thought the marble was the problem not the tile. Just my opinion.

I feel like if she wanted to have the wallpaper behind the mirror then she should have done a plan counter. The two patterns are too much for the area and they clash. I personally wouldn’t of do the wallpaper bc there is so much going on the one wall and the bathroom looks crowded now. But if she likes it then it’s fine

@@jordan9603 Exactly. Because the original counter would have created a clash and not had flow either. A plain white counter would have been great. But it really does just come down to what she likes:) The Lord knows she will change it if she does not like it.

@@abbigailsutherland9184 I think a light grey counter would have brought out the grey accents in the wallpaper (as she really doesn’t have any grey in the bathroom)
