I have sailed in this cabin class twice. 7 day and 10 day and I enjoyed it. Great little place to escape and encouraged me to get out more. I think it is something all the cruise lines need. 2x for solo in a regular cabin is robbery.

I sailed in a Studio Cabin on the Escape!! It was a great room for cruising solo. I'm actually booked in a Studio on the Bliss in November. You get your own Studio Lounge too. I would book it again if I needed to.

I cruised with NCL twice as a solo traveler. I didn't choose a small cabin for solos in the Studio section, however, I visited one of the small cabins that a cruise friend had. It was the exact layout as yours. I immediately felt closed in. I have to use medical equipment daily and I don't think I would be able to set it up if I was in that size room. There was another solo traveler who posts regularly on You Tube. She chose an Ocean view cabin on NCL that seemed very nice. You didn't have a balcony, but you could see a view at least.

Congratulations on 100k! Love your videos. I think I could stay in a solo cabin of that size for maybe a week! Thanks for the tour. Blessings ❤️

The room looks fine, but I could never sail in an inside cabin. I have to have a balcony - need to see daylight and get the fresh air. On warm weather cruises, I often sleep with the balcony door open.

I stayed in the Studio before, but I won't ever do it again. There was a girl in the room next to me and she was going for the gold medal in the mattress Olympics every night! The walls are paper thin, so I could hear everything. It quickly got old and caused me to lose a lot of sleep. From that point on, I just booked a regular cabin as a solo traveler. 😄

I have been considering booking myself in a solo room like this down the road so this was very helpful to get an idea of what I'd realistically be looking at with regards to space and comfort level. You've certainly given me some food for thought on it, both positive and negative so thank you!

I was in a Studio Cabin on Escape back in January 2019. It was a 14 day cruise. I did it again the following Sept on the Bliss. I don't know if I'd do it again. I did really like the Studio Lounge. Norwegian is now offering solo Balcony, Oceanview and inside cabins. Definitely larger than the Studio Cabins. Thank you, Tanner for the great info.

Thank you for posting this. I never cruised in an inside cabin; I prefer balconies suites because I appreciate the private luxury. The lower pricing always intrigues me though, it's tempting...when my income becomes more "limited," I'll be more venturous to finally try the inside cabin. Thank you again.

I have stayed in the solo cabins twice, once on the Escape and the other time on the Encore. I also thought it was strange having the shower right there in the room, and because I’m a taller and bigger guy than you, the size of the shower was definitely noticeable . Because I’m really only in the room to sleep at night since I’m not one that is able to nap, I never found the room to be too small. The main thing that bothered me was that there was no fridge in the room, but I did love that it was always quiet. Never really heard anyone coming or going. I will be sailing solo again on the Bliss in May.

Took my first cruise in April of this year and stayed in a studio on the Norwegian Epic on a 13 night transatlantic. I loved the space. I made sure to get organized right away. There was definitely enough room for all my stuff, but then again, I wasn't working either and didn't bring my laptop with me. I don't have issues with claustrophobia either so that probably helped too. I plan on taking another cruise to Alaska in September and will stay in a Studio again.

Your critique was accurate. I cruised on Encore in solo cabin and it had an ottoman like furnishing under the phone area. It had a removable solid top that could be placed on bed and used as a work surface. And sit on ottoman . An option of course

I could probably do the size, but not having a window would not work. Even a regular size interior cabin would not work for me. Need that natural light, and a balcony is pretty worthwhile for me. Thanks for sharing!

I've seen some NCL ships that have a video screen where the window is in this one. So you can get a live feed of outside. This one just kinda looked into the hall.

I lived in a 100 m square apartment for six years (two stints, no less). I spend most of my ship time in quiet corners, or in ports, so a small wash and sleep space, with enough financial benefit, would be fab. I’ve also stayed in Yotel NYC, which was small and weirdly laid out.

I sailed in a studio cabin on the Getaway and absolutely loved it. But, I was only in there to sleep & shower. I did another solo cruise on the Joy in a regular inside cabin designated for solo travelers. It was bigger than the studio but had less storage and seemed so dark and depressing in comparison to the bright studio. I thought the shower in both was about the same size, but obviously the inside cabin had a regular bathroom with the toilet & sink in it. I did not mind the open concept of the studio and I did leave the door open when I used the toilet because that really was a little tight. I liked being by the solo lounge to get tea without needing to go to the buffet. I don't drink coffee but people were in love with that coffee machine. If I do another solo cruise on NCL, unless there is a big price difference I would choose a studio over a solo inside cabin.

My first cruise was in a room exactly like that. It wasn't that bad as I kept mywelf busy. I like the extra events for solo travelers. I am currently sitting on the pearl and they don't have the lounge so a lot less worth it to me.

I did a 9 night Mediterranean cruise on that exact ship in a room just like that, and it was fine. We were in port everyday, so I wasn't in the room much anyway. I thought storage was fine, although I do use magnet hooks and magnet clips to hang things, and there wasn't a ton of wall space for that, but it was enough.

I liked this cabin on the NCL Getaway on my very first cruise. It didn't have the changeable light colors but I feel that would be a gimmick, fun once but then I would just want white light for getting ready for the day or for bed at night, which was about the only time I was in the room except for naps.

I really like this option. Since the 1990s I have always cruised solo and have found solo discounts. How many people are allowed in the solo cabins. I have rented single occupancy apartments with a shared kitchen. My neighbor had twenty people in her apartment. Just horrible.

Where did you hang your towels, I suppose you had to get out of the shower to get dry. It’s small, but we have a caravan that we take on road trips, that’s small too, but I think bigger than your room.

The colors bother me. I hate the "sterile" feel of all the white....looks institutional. A break for the eye with an attractive comforter, a painted wall, or "wood"-loook cabinets would warm it up and make it look cozy. Also, I am not a fan of the colored lights beyond the first 5 minutes for playing with them; looks otherworldly. It would be easier to live with if at least the lounge had views to outdoors - or, better yet, a small, shared balcony.

Have I ever stayed in one of those. Yes. And it was on that ship The Escape my first of only two cruises. Who knows, it could have been that room . I have to go find my key card. I was on the 11th floor where the lounge was situated. I had no problem with it as I'm shorter and didn't need to spend much time there. In fact, I rather preferred being out and about even if it was just for people watching in that area where they do the game shows. I'm curious, what was your total pay and where did you sail from?
