Hotels in Liverpool are usually more expensive on matchday weekends. You'd have had a much nicer time at the premier inn Liverpool one cheaper good brekkie and doesn't cost a lot. We've even had evening meal a few times at it and was always lovely.

I was a room cleaner here in 2004-2006... nothing has changed at all in the rooms except the wallpaper, and the hotel name (used to be The Gladstone Hotel).... never had any infestations of nasty stuff though like other hotels in Liverpool I've worked at have.

Tourist FC at home always means more expensive hotels, we the People's Club have more fans who live local so don't need hotels.
