I did a similar road trip w my adult niece last fall. We flew into Albuquerque and rented a car. We went on a road trip through New Mexico. We went thrifting/antiquing, visited museums, hot springs, and lots of other cool spots along the way. Our final destination was El Paso, where we flew back to LA. I love these types of girl road trips 😍

Love that you take us thrift shopping with you - thank you so much. RE: your back issues, I recommend the Thermotex heating pads - the jointed one can actually wrap around you with the velcro straps holding it in place - these are actually infrared heating pads, and the wonderful heat reaches almost 2.5 inches down into your body tissue and muscles - and - this is actually a Canadian company. I bought one for myself, one for our son and his partner, and one for yet another friend. We are all huge fans!

Interesting, Netflix in Australia won’t run if I use a VPN, I get one movie if I’m lucky and then when it goes to play the next movie it’s telling me to turn off my VPN😿😿 I could not believe they had such an ugly fly cover on such a beautiful book(I use to bind books for a living 40 years ago) I loved that filling cabinet draws. I have not been able to find a good flannel shirts, I think where I live it just don’t get cold enough for them lol, maybe if I take a trip to Victoria I just might find something there 😹😹it gets dam cold there. I love to thrift shop, sometimes you can find such nice goodies, as a beadier I have found some really nice vintage beads, I love to repurpose beads and make something new out of something old, but my really really best find was crystal necklace and it was all Swarovski I flipped my lid that day as these were so expensive to buy even now. I still have then as I’m collecting beads to go with them so I can make something new. It looked like you girls had a heap of fun nothing like a little getaway to recharge the old batteries 🤗🤗

You were in my neck of the Ontario woods. Sauble and area has a lot of places to go thrifting. Clothes shopping at The Patch in Sauble is always is a must every time we go. But unfortunately, as you found out, not all stores in Sauble are open 7 days a week until the summer season official gets rolling.
