There is one huge, huge counter to the "RR on last" cheese that no one ever uses I've found. Its called the Cow Mangler charged shot. This applies the "Sapper" status to the sentry, so you can't heal it while its disabled by the cow mangler, allowing most to destroy it with some focus fire.

The rescue ranger is like the crusader's crossbow for the engie (with some fundamental differences). so what if you could yoink your teammates with the crusader's crossbow as medic? you know what that sounds like a neat idea but also a catalyst for trolling sadly.

You know, that could work to a lesser extent than the Rescue Ranger. Maybe you could yoink your teammates with a cost of 50% Ubercharge. This would give you a choice to either yoink one of your teammates to potentially save their life, or continue to build Uber so you can get a really powerful push. It would also counteract the whole trolling business at it would actually come with a pretty hefty cost.

​@@nathanhays8696 interesting thought but even then, in a game like tf2, I feel like moving a player so drastically without them having control over it, I don't think people would like it too much, even if it's a cool ability. Imagine that without warning you could be yoinked by your medic from across the map to safety, but you'd also be pretty disoriented as well. Regarding this, another idea came to mind: some kind of tether/grapple that can pull the *medic* to a teammate (at the cost of uber, which is a good idea, ty). it could be like the quick fix's blast jump mirroring but on overdrive. this puts control and concequence directly on the user, which would feel much more fair, and still allow you to quickly get into medigun range of a teammate in need

I do agree that suddenly being yoinked from across the map directly next to your teams Medic would be pretty disorienting and most likely a bit infuriating. On the plus side, the grapple mechanic would give Medic another option for mobility, as he's lacking in options when it comes to that. I feel like adding a Mannpower-esque grappling hook to the Crossbow at the cost of a percentage of Ubercharge, would be a great addition.

Instantly teleporting fully upgraded turret and placing it into a more favorable position could be considered overpowered. Luckily you can't rocket jump as engineer and place your sentry in wierd places, ha ha. Maybe thats why Engineers don't do that like Dane said.
