So I’ve been away from unite for a while. Got into masters for the first time in a long time. Still getting used to the new ban and pick system. Hope I’m not missing anything because I’m not entirely sure how they trigger because I don’t get them every time.

They trigger if every player is in Master and has at least 14 Unite licences. EX licences don't count amongst that 14. If in doubt the "safe" bans are Umbreon, Comfey, Leafeon, Slowbro, Trevenant and arguably Zoroark. All of them are pretty strong and most don't require much skill to use. Just stick to common sense; don't pick Attackers into a lot of Speedsters, don't first/second pick weak junglers if Sableye is still available, don't go all melee if enemies are full of long range mons or heavy stuns, etc.
