Your hair is absolutely amazing.Don't give up on your dream having a big and long hair cause you're going to have it! Even I have mostly straight hair I cut it 8 months ago and it didn't look so nice,but now after 8 months its more beautiful,I have the lenght that I wanted,but my bangs are still down to my chin.I realized that you can do anything that you wish if you wish hard and if you give the best of yourself! I enjoyed this. My daughter and you have similar hair texture. I have found that wrapping the flat ironed style was the worst thing I could do to her hair. I divide it into two ponytails and put some Jane Carter Nourish and Shine on each ponytail, then I bun the ponytails in ouchless bands. It protects the ends and keeps the hair moisturized and straight.

Me cringing was because u used oils & straighten ur hair , i made the same mistake after 3 years of new hair growth and got heat damage and had to cut off the damage . I knew better , but in a fog / weak moment i flat iron it and well you know, please don’t flat iron ur hair with oils , its frying ur hair , all the best peace & love.

Yes, you're right it would have been straighter if I blowdryed...but I don't really like the extreme flat look unless its weave. Never really liked it, even when i was relaxed. Can't wait to trim my ends ♥

I def thought about that hehe! Oil burns...i've done it before without adding oil right before and got silkier results. I like to experiment and I didnt really want bone straight BUT I will def keep this in mind for next time. Thanks love! xoxo

I found that one way to get my ends straighter is by using the chase method with a bristle brush instead of a comb. You should try it next time and see how it work for you.

I have 4b 4c and my hair looks so thin and lifeless when straightened. I think it has a lot to do with the top part of my hair being short which makes it seem like my ends and bottom is thinner. I wish my hair would grow evenly. Anyway Beautiful hair!

I air dry before using the flat iron. Takes about a day and a half as my hair holds water forever

OMG you guys after watching this i wanted to flat iron my hair ...i bought this stuff called simply stylin silk and used it in combination with herbal oil and my hair was AWESOME ...straight as ever yet full of body...i used the comb chase method only one pass...its made with "pure silicon" ...Toya u should try it :-) clipped ends or not it will do the job

Lol, we started @ the same x ( I'm 2 yrs as well). When I straightened my hair it came out the same way. Later I discovered that I used way too much oil. Enjoy it while it last !
