Africa lives within me and Africa is me. The great words of the priestess, mother G. All respect to you. I attended a training course in the United States with another black guy from Ghana, and he kept telling me that I reminded him of a friend he left in Ghana. I was working for USAID at the time, and he was adamant that I was Ghanaian. Within the next 5 years Jamaica will be the place for most black American coming to live.

The Ethiopian Eunuch brought the gospel of Jesus Christ to Ethiopia shortly after Jesus was crucified and resurrected Acts 8:26-40 King James Version 26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert. 27 And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship, 28 Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet. 29 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot. 30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest? 31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him. 32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth: 33 In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth. 34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man? 35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. 36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? 37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. 38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. 39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. 40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.

This is one of the most amazing acts that I have ever witnessed. Acts of the history of our people and to see this servitude still exist. This is thousands of years of our women performing such acts

I’ve been to 27 countries and nowhere celebrated me as a Jamaican than Ghana. They love us “gone to bed”, Jamaicans are rock star status in Ghana, if you into the lime light. Even the taxis and the Ubers have Jamaica flag on them. They rock with us. Go see for yourself, my words are not enough justification of the facts. Bless up our people, love Oo nuh.

Maya, I just realized that your government name is Ackon. I had a friend from Ghana with the same last name. He is married to a Jamaican and lived here for many years. I enjoyed this video very much. I wish you every success in your endeavours especially your push to make travel between the Caribbean and Africa simpler. One love 🇯🇲

💌💌💌This was a genuine good act, I believe it was the right thing to do. I was taught if somebody does you good, means you well etc genuinely return it and your gift was just and had so much depth. This has made me see a different side to Wade Maya, I could see from the many years of viewing his videos he presents as humble and a great person but truly I believe he is so underestimated. May blessings upon blessings betide you Wode Maya, you were raised exceedingly well.💌💌💌

Washing a stranger's feet is not servitude. It is welcome, love, and connection with the land. She said 'bringing your people together'. Her ritual blessings is common among Igbo and Yoruba cultures. But, I guess, EVERY other culture in Africa. Keep the minds connecting. Also be open to what works, not just 'as our ancestors always did it' - since they, too, would have adapted to science and modernity. That, is how every culture grows. Best wishes, TruMaya.

This video was EVERYTHING! ❤❤❤ From the woman washing your feet, and you giving her the trip of her dreams to Africa. From visiting that beautiful family's home and them showing you so much hospitality, to you advertising their skin care line with respect. Maya, the way you promote such togetherness for our black ppl all across the globe is so real and so refreshing I applaud you!! Please keep up the good work, and may God continue to bless you and keep you always!! Much love to you and Miss Trudy from Ohio ❤❤
