I fully understand the challenge and you did really good. But I couldn't feel a bit bad that you're doing this challenge in a country which doesn't have a good economy and many lives on tourism, I do wish you would still pay the tuk tuk driver and the hostel something as a gift. Anyhow that's just me, I'm also very aware of your charity and good spirit which been shown in previous videos. All the best x

Ok. I have to admit this video is pretty damn cool. What's even better is the experience you had. The piece de resistance was the characters and people you met. It's great to know there are some really awesome people in this world that bring color and light to our lives when we encounter them. Even though it's a short amount of time spent in their presence we gain more understanding and growth from what they share with us. In my book that's dope!!👍 Great job Brett!! Dude, I just found your channel today. I've watched 4 videos already and really love how you share your positivity as well as your travel expertise. Most of all I love the positive messages you give people on goal setting. 30 years ago today I was backpacking through India for 3 months. I did it on $1,100 Canadian dollars so I share your passion for bargain traveling. I though my 9 rupee room was a good bargain (about 0.38 Canadian or 0.25 USD) but you have made it a career. Of course in 1992, there were no camera phones and social media, otherwise I might have been doing what you are doing. I was 36 back in 1992 and that makes me 66 now. I don't think my old bones could handle hostel bedding, let alone the other crazy stuff. Thanks Brett. You have a new fan!

I have some advice about living with no money at all in Thailand. I am Thai, mostly if Thai people have problems. We will ask for help from the temple first. You are hungry, you go to the temple, you have rice to eat. You may have seen monks in the morning walking to get food from the villagers. In a day, the food received was too much for one person to eat. The monks then distribute the food to the people near the temple or the poor who have no money. Or when you are riding a motorcycle camping style when you don't have accommodation, you can go to the temple and ask to stay. Everything is free during the first epidemic. During Thailand's lockdown There will be tourists who cannot return to their country. and some people have limited budget Thai people also prepare food to distribute to them. Or some tourists who do not have money choose to live at the temple many people. Some people have stayed at the temple to this day and never asked to return to their own country. There are many news channels in Thailand making this news. And another recommendation is When you're hungry and you don't have any money, you can go to a restaurant and tell him straight up and don't lie. They are definitely ready to help you. And in restaurants, you may have seen that they all offer free cold water for you. If you don't have money and you're thirsty, you can go to the street food stalls for water. or a small water shop you will get what you want Just please don't lie to them. Or if doing content, you can lie a little that you don't have money. But you also have to answer them as you do the content. They definitely don't charge you. because there are many famous youtubers in Thailand who do a lot of this content For example, disguised as a homeless person to ask for food from a restaurant. Every shop is give a food for free, he replied that it was a prank, the restaurant didn't charge for food at all. Because Thai people say that giving is that they are definitely giving willingly.😁😁🙏🙏

Should have gone to a less touristy area. Ask locals. They love foreigners. It would be more fun. There is a news a couple of days ago about a tourist riding motorbike from Chiangmai to Pai, hungry and stopped by a place mistakenly thought it was a restaurant when in fact it was a wedding lol it was so funny but you get to see the real Thais.
