11:52 That sounds like something that should be connected to permanent power may be connected to switched power? I had that before for example with an aftermarket HiFi-Nav Unit for my car. For my specific car, the wires for permanent power and ignition only power was SWITCHED! So I lost all my settings and all my calibration every time I turned off the car and back on again. Took me ages to figure out, was 18 at the time with my first car... 😀

I wish Australia was as chill about these bikes as the U.S you get caught riding one of these on the street and it's a fine for riding an unregistered motor vehicle. We can get a road legal version but you need a motorbike license to ride it on the road and then you need to pay registration (every 3, 6 or 12 months) and you also need insurance. If you ride the regular Sur Ron on the bike paths we have available you get a fine for riding an un-registered motor vehicle on the footpath and if there's pedestrians on the same strip you can also be charged with additional fines if the cops feeling like a jerk. Cant really justify buying one now if they cost $6.5k and you can only ride them on dirt bike trails, so I'll get my fix from you 🤣

@@JuicedJoyrides 😂 Gotta keep perspective. A small (300cc) motorcycle engine can deliver 49HP on a 230lb package. A 2HP motor is about the max a standard house outlet circuit can support. And pushing the board through the table saw too fast can mean a trip to the breaker box to reset it. A 16HP electric motor is heavy industrial stuff! Weigh around 300lbs, use over 60A continuous at 240Vac, cost around six grand. With an output shaft of 1-5/8" to withstand the torque. These small, low-mass motors for bicycles can't put out that kind of power or they'd liquify. And notice how they advertise "1,500 watts" instead of using the traditional convention of 1.5kW. Same reason they advertise prices like $9.99 instead of $10.00. Mind games.

the difference between 72v and 62v is only in speed, the higher the voltage, the higher the speed, the higher the amperage, the longer it will go and the higher the power, but the change in voltage and amperage must occur with the change in the motor, that is, the motor, the controller, the battery amperage must match each other , if there is no compliance, something will fail sooner rather than later

We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. kzbin.infoUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!
