Bought Audi S3 2000 year from auction .. 108k full history plus fees .. Had it on eBay for £5995, all the way down to £3495 over 6 months .. Dealer bought it for full money for full money over the phone , he specialised in 80’s 90’s sports cars ( after numerous time wasters and low ballers ) Think the timing chain was noisy after standing for so long .. He probably spent a few quid on it , timing belt chain etc etc and re marketed for £6995 .. Maybe still on eBay now
@Burney_ Жыл бұрын
Nice that’s pretty good then! Unfortunately the way it is I guess sometimes! That’s fair enough though as they are getting more rarer now, time wasters and low balls are the worst though! Im pretty sure they have cam belt only one the 20vt they have, possibly something else in the end? That’s not bad though it may be listed for that I guess but might not re sell for sometime or end up bringing it down in price and not have much margin on it I guess if he’s spent some money on it! Good cars though! 😃

Is it worth doing swaps aa so far i had to people wanting to swap my scooby, one was a bmw x5 08 plate m sport and another was a 330i msport 2002 e46 convertible
@Burney_ Жыл бұрын
Sometimes I guess mate depends on what you have or what they’re offering! Most the time though if I’m honest you’ll get people offering stuff well below the value of your car is what I tend to find! All depends on what it is I guess! 😊
@brianiswrong Жыл бұрын
You have to ask yourself why they want to swap, and after hearing all the ' cars to big for the mrs' ' to small for the kids' 'etc,etc, then a good look at the on line mot history (and with the v5c number the identity of the mot stations) then a search online for the model specific known problems.then gauge to ' seller' do he/ she seem truthfully, check the approx value of the offered car with (if you want to be harsh) webuyanycar. Then finally and foremost Flip a coin and call head or tails in your mind😊
