Disclaimer: The Gearing on the CBR was actually not stock hence the speedo can not be trusted. It's reading way too high.
I managed to swap my CBF for a Fireblade....I love sportsbikes, I wish I didn't but I do. This love of Sportsbikes will lead me to a life of discomfort and pain but sure look. Nothing can be done about it now!

If you re gear your bike do you get a speedo healer? I will have to do it for the GSXR once I out it back on the road as the new gearing is too fun, like this bike :) I think Grant could go more aggressive with the gearing if he wanted to really, but a Speedo healer might be needed to keep everyone happy :D

Us taller blokes are always cramped up on sports bikes . Price of admission if you want one of those hyper bikes. The Repsol and tri colour paint jobs on the 05 models are so much better than the standard colours.

Yep, a price I'm personally willing to pay as they're so much fun :D I saw the Duc is coming along well, nearly there now? :) I personally love the Repsol ones myself :) Lots of standard colours are a bit dull!

Yoga 😀 also helped me to recover from injuries. I have been doing it for over a year now with my girlfriend and not planning in stopping it. Also always wanted to try one of those super sport bikes. Really nice sound too.

A fun blast round the lanes. A perfect tool for the job. The fairings look good. Sad we don't see Honda Britain or HRC colours like we used to. WSBK is the last hoorah I think. I suppose for the Marquez generation it speaks to them. Good fun video.

It was indeed! Yes indeed, although really the blade was just asking for a track, it's idling on those roads really. Ah I think it's all cyclical, they'll become cool again and make a come back! Yeah for certain Marc has had a huge effect on the popularity of the livery :) Thanks! :)

Lovely bike, had the same model and year for my first litre bike. Still watching your video, so you may mention this. But when they came out the stink that people had about the electronic steering damper, people would take them off and replace them with manual units. I always thought the electronic was brilliant, indeed have an electronic damper on my current litre bike.

Out of curiousity, do you have a similar issue when it comes to cars? I'd love to have a Mazda MX-5, but guys like us would have to bolt the seat to the floor to have any hope of fitting somewhat comfortably. The thing with bikes are that there will always be some discomfort or compromise - even on things like Goldwings, we're still exposed to the elements and have to look out for distracted drivers and kamikaze wildlife. If we're going to be uncomfortable no matter what, you may as well have something that at least makes it fun like a sports bike... provided you can actually control it properly and your size doesn't hinder it. I don't want a Super Tenere (just) because of my size. I want it for the shaft drive and torque because I'm a lazy prick.
@TheGorillaBiker
@TheGorillaBiker 2 жыл бұрын
Yes. I've actually run out of interest in cars in Ireland tbh, the same as bikes I'd like a fun car, but I don't fit and I can't afford or insure one here anyway. Ireland has been ruined for cars for me really, let alone not fitting in anything that isn't relatively dull :P Agreed tbh, the only thing I find with bikes, that is honestly one of my favourite things about them, is that you CAN compromise on them. I can hang a leg out to the side to stretch if I want, stop for a minute and use the bikes nature to regain lost time etc etc. Like you said provided it's not unsafe to ride you're so cramped! Hahahaha nothing wrong with that :D Plus they're a class bike :)

I'm only 6ft and have a MK2.5 can just about fit in it but do worry about not having a rollbar with my head poking over the top of my seat. Also had to remove the visors so I can see the reds at traffic lights :D

hello buddy. My English is bad so I couldn’t understand why you like sports bikes, but I can use google translate. I have a few questions. Which motorcycle is more agile in the city? (CBF 1000 or CBR 1000RR) Which motorcycle can be ridden more easily? (CBF 1000 or CBR 1000RR) Does the CBR 1000RR feel lighter while riding (on paper it is 30 pounds lighter)?
@TheGorillaBiker
@TheGorillaBiker 2 жыл бұрын
I like them because they're fast and fun :D I have no idea I didn't ride the CBR in a city, but I would pick the CBF as it has a bar so is more manoeuvrable at slow speeds. That depends on how comfortable you are with bikes, they're both pretty easy to ride. Not when you're riding no, weight is rarely very obvious once a bike is moving unless it a very heavy bike imo.
