That tying process is 🔥 I like those bags too. I think you could tighten that upper bolt up just a touch to make the bin stay tilted so you can load faster. Take 4-5 pieces for the first initial load Thanks so much for sharing!

Good video just what I was looking for I bundle 12000 +a year I use a brute force bundler thinking about going to bags we average 30 bundles per hour we also put handles on what are the dimensions of your bag
@OutdoorsEngineer8 ай бұрын
How's the Brute Force? I'm not that far from them. I'm not sure the bag dimensions. I do know they fit 1.0 cubic foot bundles just fine. I get them from Frieze Firewood in Phillips, WI and are very, very UV Stable.

Really neat idea to staple the handle to the bottom. What is the overall response to that method?
@OutdoorsEngineer10 ай бұрын
It is! Hard to say, haven't sold many bundles this winter and I haven't been using that method. Just was something I saw in St. Mary, Montana when traveling!

Iv started bagging my fire wood this summer as well, Im just using a bucket though lol. I had to build a new road side stand though because the sun was fading my bags and causing them to tear and break open. So I store all my pre made bags inside now. Incase you didnt know Chris from in the wood yard stopped at your firewood stand on his channel a few videos back. Pretty cool! Take Care !!!
@OutdoorsEngineer Жыл бұрын
Thanks! I saw that as well - pretty cool!. I have plans to build another stand and document the process. The bags I am using now don't seem to be impacted as much by the sun, which is very nice.

Fire lovers come in all shapes , sizes and abilities. Some can lift big ol heavy bags but others require lighter more managable bundles, I would encourage offering both. For the less capable.
@OutdoorsEngineer11 ай бұрын
That's an excellent point and something that I can for sure do. It would be an excellent experiment.

If they are both 0.75 or 1 cu ft. How does it matter?

You might consider printing off a series of eye-catching labels with the name of your business, phone #s and information on what other kinds of wood-oriented services and products you provide and slip them in before you tie those bags up.

They self destruct if left in the sun very long. Just FYI...
@OutdoorsEngineer Жыл бұрын
Depends on the types of bags you use. The ones that have "Firewood" on the side - yes, they self destruct. The bags I have purchased locally are very much UV resistant. I've had them sitting in teh sun for months and still in good shape.
