ATLANTA - Good food is supposed to nourish the soul as well as the body.
But the FOX 5 I-Team says an Atlanta social media influencer who touts his cooking skills online has left behind a mess of consumer complaints and hurt feelings. And worse.
"This has been a living nightmare," complained Atlanta resident Melenese Ford.
Darius Williams, 39, once owned two Atlanta restaurants that he closed in January 2020. He’s since built an impressive online presence under the pseudonym Darius Cooks.

I'm sorry but I was appalled when I saw the pictures of the dining experience where he cooked them people spaghettis and meatballs or something to that nature and my honest opinion as a self-taught cook myself If I'm paying $300 for a dining experience I definitely do not want spaghetti and meatballs. That's just my opinion and my two cents and when I saw the information on Facebook I told my pops and moms about it because that was very out of the ordinary to serve someone that type of meal for that price point 🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️

He's originally from Chicago. It seemed as though everything started to go down hill with him when he abruptly shut down his Chicago restaurants. He revealed he was dealing with a mental breakdown which were brought on due to stress from his businesses. Then before you know it one thing led to another. He was a favorite on Facebook at one point. Things have gotten worse. Didn't know he was this kind of person though. He's wrong!! Wow.. I can go on about the things I've witnessed on social media with him but it's too much to type.
