Geoffrey Alan There’s an oatmeal raisin cookie I dearly miss from a cookie shop in Dallas. I have a dupe recipe, but the Bob’s Red Mill company store about a mile away from their mill/factory sells a pack of six thick and chewy, almost Levian-style oatmeal cookies. Eye-rollingly tasty, but your grandma’s cookies sound really good. Are you going to have her on and bake them in a video?

Levain style cookies sound incredible! Unfortunately my grandma passed, but I did a video of her cookie recipe in December 2018 - it was one of my earliest videos

Browned the butter, rolled in espresso powder and sugar and added espresso powder to the dough.

Hoped you would do what I did and make the focaccia this week. Super easy and even without the garlic butter step, sooo good. But I know you’re a 🍪 guy.

I’m making the focaccia and dulce de leche shortbread this weekend! I wanted a bigger bowl for the focaccia to rest/rise in. I cannot wait to try it - glad to have your focaccia endorsement 🤤

My cookies came out good. One batch I forgot to roll in the cinnamon sugar. Had to grab them out quick and sprinkle the sugar on top 🤪

better the second day and you have to slightly undercook them. In this video, they turned out a tad more flat and overcooked by about 90 seconds. Also, the use of a real vanilla bean that the recipe calls for does make a difference.

Yeah. My dough is really firm. It's not soupy at all. How much butter did you use. You said 2 sticks.... Which should 1 cup. But I'm watching the video and that pyrex cup looks almost full. I think you used more butter than you said.

Those look a little bit overdone ❤ Im sure its good, but snickerdoodles should be cakey and moist inside. The top should crackle❤
